INTRODUCTION

To honor the construction of our great city…

 

The Duke of Adria, in consultation with the Greycloaks, has announced a tournament to be held at the end of the year.

TIME AND LOCATION

The Tournament of Velec will be held in the Duchy of Adria
((Saturday, March 11th. 4:00 PM EST))

 

ATTRACTIONS

The Stalls

The Festival will be an open ground for artisans of all trades - and merchants from Adria and abroad, to showcase their crafts and ply their wares.

Sword in the Stone

Contestants will test their strength for 5 mina by attempting to pull an ancient sword, nearly lost to time. Whoever is able to pull the sword from the stone shall keep it and its perhaps mystical properties

Guildship Opportunity

During the Festival numerous guilds will be looking for potential candidates. Therefore, merchants and prospective job-hunters are encouraged to find each other during the tournament.

THE MELEES
Fisticuffs Melee

As the sun sets over the Lower Petra, all festival goers will be invited to participate in the fisticuffs, a melee of unarmed combat in the center of Velec for a monetary prize.

Armed Melee

A melee will be held for all comers, a chance to demonstrate your mastery at arms to all of Adria. Any weapons will be allowed so long as they are dulled. The winner will walk away with a purse of minas.

MINAS PRIZE

 

Armed Melee Victor

  A Prize amount of 250 Minas.
A street shall be named in your honor within Velec.
A Personal commendation from the Duke of Adria.
A Melee weapon of their choosing made by the finest smiths of Adria.

Fisticuffs Melee Victor
A Prize amount of 100 Minas.
A gilded carriage inscribed with the name of the victor.
A personal commendation from the Duke of Adria.
