With great pleasure and an open heart, I, Izabela Anna Ivanovich, extend my warmest greetings to all those who call this vibrant land their home. It is high time to usher in a new era of collaboration and shared responsibilities within our Duchy. Today, we stand at the precipice of transformative change, where the voices of the citizens shall resonate not only in the halls of the court but also in the very fabric of our duchy's governance. I firmly believe that the essence of true leadership lies not in seclusion, but in fostering a sense of unity and embracing the diversity of thought.

 

To that end, I extend my hand to every citizen, regardless of status or lineage, and warm welcomes to those who are willing to contribute their insights, skills, and dedication to the betterment of Stran. My vision is one of an inclusive court, where wisdom comes from the wisdom of the many, and where decisions are informed by a collective consciousness.

 

Thus, I invite each and every one of you, from every walk of life, to step forward and seize this unique opportunity to shape the destiny of Stran. Whether you are a seasoned professional, a learned scholar, a passionate artisan, or a compassionate individual with the welfare of the realm at heart, your talents and perspectives are invaluable assets that Stran earnestly seeks.

 

Duchess Council Positions

 

Duchess of Stran

Her Grace, Izabela Anna Ivanovich (Trxvisty)

Second head of the authority within the Duchy of Stran 

The Duchess is responsible for managing the affairs of the duchy, overseeing social events, fostering community relations, and championing causes that promote the welfare and prosperity of the realm's citizens. Her grace, wisdom, and diplomacy are essential in maintaining harmony and order within the territory.

 

Governor/Governess

The Governor, or Governess, is tasked with aiding the Duchess in overseeing court operations, as well as being able to run the court in her absence. The Governess will essentially act as the right hand to the Duchess.

 

Privy Councilors 

Privy Councilors are trusted individuals capable of providing counsel on policy, diplomacy, and other important matters. 

 

Court Secretary

Her Ladyship, Isavella Jazloviecki @Itz_Cookie

The Court Secretary is responsible for managing the written records and correspondence of the ducal court. The court secretary's duties include transcribing official documents, recording important events and decisions, and handling communication between the Duke and Duchess and other officials or foreign dignitaries.

 

Ladies-in-Waiting 

Ladies-in-waiting are appointed to attend to the personal needs and companionship of the duchess. They are to accompany her on various occasions and provide support in her daily life.

 

Mistress of Wardrobe

Miss Eloise Von Theonus @Rosey

The Mistress of Wardrobe is tasked with upkeep and management of the noble wardrobe as the name suggests, as well as setting the standard for the Fashion of Stran culture. Upon taking this position she must have a keen eye for style. 

 

Head Scribe

Nikolai Pyotyr Savelie @SirB0ng0

Works directly under the Court Secretary, the Head Scribe is in charge of not only writing letters, transcripts, and such, but is partially in charge of ensuring pisets are well integrated into the court and allocating tasks. 

Courtier Positions

 

Court Steward

The court steward's duties typically include overseeing the household, finances, and various aspects of the court's administration, such as organizing events, supervising servants, and handling the allocation of resources. 

 

Court Physician

The Court Physician is put in charge of providing medical care and advice to members of the court. Their duties may extend to joining the Duke and Duchess on their travels and aiding them should they suffer illnesses or injuries abroad. 

 

Court Alchemist

The Court Alchemist must be an individual well-versed in the subject area, they are tasked with providing their services to the court and the noble family’s needs. Court Alchemists are also tasked with teaching those within the court should they be seeking students. 

 

Court Tutor

The Court Tutor is tasked with ensuring the youth of both the noble family and others within the court receive a well rounded education 

 

Court Artisans

A position for the artistic and talented among our community, court artisans are tasked with creating innovative and artistic works, as well as contributing to the artistic advancement of Stran’s culture. This extends to all forms of creativity, whether it be music, art, literature, and so on. 

 

Pisets

Otherwise known as scribes, this is a position open to all youth who are unable to take wardship. An opportunity for the next generation to be able to participate in the court and receive mentorship from those working within the hierarchy. Each person may receive a different role depending on where they are seen fit or on the basis of interest. 

 

 

As we embark on a new chapter, I am excited to announce that opportunities for growth and advancement within our court abound. Each of you brings unique talents and skills that have enriched our court's tapestry, and I firmly believe that there are positions perfectly suited to showcase your abilities.

 

I invite you all to explore the possibilities and consider taking on new roles within our Ducal Court. Your unwavering loyalty and devotion to our people have not gone unnoticed, and I am certain that your expertise will continue to contribute to the betterment of our realm.

 

Change can be both thrilling and challenging, but together, we shall navigate this journey hand in hand. Know that my support and trust in each of you are unwavering, and I am confident that you will shine in any position you choose.
