It is by the grace of 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖙 and, Her Majesty, Catherine of the Petra that we, the House von Augusten find our peace. Behold, Rikardsburg has risen! Erected overlooking the river Petra, and bearing homage to our departed kinsman, and castle architect, Baron Richard von Leopold of Edendorf. The keep of Rikardsburg even bearing his name. The lands of Azor stretch, from our seat in Rikardsburg, across the flatlands and up to the eastern borders of Solland. And so our prayers are fulfilled; we now have a home, a place where our weary may rest and our kinder be protected.

 

Receiving these good tidings, we also announce the establishment of the 𝕮𝖔𝖚𝖗𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝕽𝖎𝖐𝖆𝖗𝖉𝖘𝖇𝖚𝖗𝖌. A place where Azorites may offer their services to the Viscounty and pursue their interests for her benefit. Currently, only two positions have been filled. It is our hope that once the court is properly established, more will be inclined to join it; subjects and kin, alike.

The Burgmann acts as the first attendant to the Viscount. They shall be tasked with upholding the stewardship of Rikardsburg and managing the household, as the Viscount’s primary representative. It is not uncommon for the Burgmann to act on the Viscount’s behalf should he be absent.

Customarily held by a member of House von Leopold.

Personal chaplain and confessor to the family von Augusten, they shall reside within the Kapelle des Sankt Michael (c. Chapel of Saint Michael), where they will perform sacraments for the viscomital household, and receive their confessions.

With the completed construction of the keep it is our profound duty to petition the Church to offer 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖙-ly blessings upon our castle and home. Let the Almighty’s clergymen offer His protection unto Rikardsburg, may she never fall out of Von Augusten hands and may 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖙 make her a place of peace, warmth and happiness. With Cardinal Rhosyn of Casica’s approval it shall be Mother Alrisha, who will perform the rites thereby blessing the keep.
