The Tough Guy 4320 Popular Post Share Posted March 2, 2024 Year 170 of the Second Age 02/03/2024ISSUED BY: THE OBSIDIAN THRONE ᚨ ᛚᛖᚷᚨᚲᛁ ᛊᛖᛏ ᛁᚾ ᛊᛏᛟᚾᛖ ᚨ ᛚᛖᚷᚨᚲᛁ ᛊᛖᛏ ᛁᚾ ᛊᛏᛟᚾᛖ YOTH BRATHMORDAKIN NA YOTH URGUAN ᛁᛟᚦ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛁᛟᚦ ᚢᚱᚷᚢᚨᚾ Preamble The Reign of Grand King Sigrun Stonehammer can be described as one of great success and victory. After the death of the beloved Garedyn Mossborn in a tragic excavation, Sigrun carried on the mantle of the former-king, being voted UNANIMOUSLY by all Greater-Clans into the position of king. Sigrun ‘UndeadSlayer’ Stonehammer continued the righteous will of Garedyn the Emerald, continuing the war against the bloodthirsty Veletz, earning several victories as commander and King in multiple battles, namely: The Siege of Fredericksburg The Siege of Drusco Keep The Battle of Easworth Forest Grand King Sigrun led the Dwarven forces to victory after victory, bolstering the reputation of the Grand Kingdom with his might and ferocity. As the war subsided, with fine diplomatic demonstration, he was able to ensure that Urguan received hefty reparations from the former League of Veletz. That was not the end of Grand King Sigrun’s capable diplomacy. The Kingdom of Vikela had violated the territorial claims of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Grand King Sigrun would not tolerate Urguan’s honor being besmirched, and thus immediately sent out a missive to Vikela, demanding that they leave. Rather than face the wrath of the King, Vikela conceded to the demands, and the respect and integrity of Urguan continued. Grand King Sigrun was also able to utilize his renown across the realm to forge new alliances for Urguan, namely the Kingdom of Numendil and the Principality of Celia’nor. The treasury flourished under his reign, mainly from the reparations and the payment of grudges that Grand King Sigrun was able to negotiate. Under Sigrun’s reign, every Dwed had food in their stomach, and a seat at the table to enjoy Urguan’s wealth. To thus summarize, Grand King Sigrun’s reign has ensured that Urguan enjoyed and continues to enjoy a strong diplomatic presence, an even stronger treasury, and a safe and secure country for the Dwarven people to flourish. Therefore it is a tragedy today that Grand King Sigrun, after a prosperous 7 year reign, has decided to abdicate. This marks a new Dawn for the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and for those who wish to inherit the legacy of Grand King Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ Stonehammer, now is the time to put yourself forward as a candidate for election. A moot shall be held within the coming Stone Day. Urguan shall remain strong and unrelenting under a new King, but we shall all remember what Sigrun has done for Urguan. NARVAK OZ URGUAN! NARVAK OZ BRATHMORDAKIN! NARVAK OZ SIGRUN! Signed, Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ StonehammerGrand King of Urguan,Clan Father of The Stonehammers, Priest of Dungrimm, Hero of Dungrimm, Three-Time Grand Champion of Urguan
