PerfectlyPeachy 1345 Share Posted March 30 O THE PEOPLE OF THE REALM, Hear ye, hear ye, for grievous tidings beset the hallowed grounds of the Emberweave Circus, where joy once reigned and laughter echoed amidst the spectacle of wonder. In the twilight's embrace, as shadows danced upon the canvas of our stage, Baalial and Aravir, known to all as Mister and Missus Emberweave, embarked upon their aerial ballet upon the taut strands of the tightrope. But alas, the threads of fate were severed by the hand of malice, and they were cast into the abyss below. Baalial, valiant and true, sought to shield his beloved Aravir from the cruel descent, grasping for purchase upon the frayed strands of hope. Yet the forces of gravity, fueled by treachery, hurled him into the tower of the tightrope, leaving his body broken and his spirit shattered. Aravir, suspended between heaven and earth, was spared from the clutches of oblivion by the gallantry of a soul amongst our midst, brave and true. Yet the fiend who wrought this havoc revealed itself in a visage of horror, with jaws agape and features twisted in mockery of life, vanishing into a shroud of putrid smoke. But lo, the darkness that envelops us is not confined to the realm of shadows alone, for a missive of doom was discovered amidst the wreckage, bearing the ominous warning of further harm should the circus persist. "Beware of the Barney," it proclaimed, signed by the hand of B.T. Parnum. Furthermore, let it be known that in the pursuit of justice, a cultist was apprehended by the order of St. Jude and found guilty of perpetrating this heinous act of sabotage. Their twisted allegiance to dark forces has been unveiled, yet we remain wary, for the tendrils of malevolence often run deep. Though this malefactor has been brought to account for their crimes, we cannot rest easy, for the shadow of uncertainty looms large. The circus, ever vigilant, shall continue to probe the depths of this nefarious plot, lest any remnants of the darkness remain to threaten our sanctuary anew. In the wake of this heinous assault upon our sanctuary of mirth and marvel, we are left with no recourse but to suspend all performances until the specter of peril is banished from our midst. Let it be known to all who seek to snuff out the light of our artistry: we shall not cower in the face of adversity, nor yield to the dictates of fear. We call upon thee, noble patrons and allies, to stand with us in solidarity against this encroaching tide of darkness. Together, let us scour the shadows and uncover the face of evil that seeks to extinguish the flame of our creativity. Until the day dawns anew, and the perpetrator of this vile deed is brought to justice, we shall remain steadfast in our resolve. May the spirit of unity guide us through the darkest of nights, and may the ember of hope burn eternal in our hearts.
