With the arrival of New Valdev comes a refreshed and diligent government, seeking to shepherd and oversee all those who flock to our walls for protection and opportunity. To this end, by decree of His Majesty King Ivan VIII and Queen Nataliya of Ghaestenwald, the Office of the Grand Maer publishes its first formal Census, to collect valuable insights on the makeup of our population and the groups that comprise our realm.

 

It is the intention of this Census to promote improved representation of all subcultures within Haense, and also ensure the Crown is kept up to date on who they might call upon for positions within the Brotherhood of Saint Karl, the City Government of New Valdev, and the Aulic Council respectively. It also cements each individual as a citizen of the kingdom, unless removed by willing departure or writ of banishment, lasting until the next census which will be issued in the year 540 ES.
