[!] Several neatly written invitations were tucked precariously into mail boxes and under doors with a few larger posters pinned to noticeboards around the city. 

 

Clan Val'taelu extends invitations to those residing within Celia’Nor and abroad to join us in a jubilant gathering. Join us upon our newly crafted vessel, a masterpiece of maritime craftsmanship, as we “sail” into an evening of revelry and camaraderie– complete with games, drinks, and food for all who attend.

ITINERARY:

 

Prepare to dive into depths of excitement with our thrilling DIVING COMPETITION!

Adorn your finest aquatic attire and showcase your prowess as you compete for victory. The diver exhibiting the most graceful technique and inventive agility shall be adorned with a first-place price of 80 minae, a small testament to their aquatic prowess.

 

Indulge in a delectable array of CUISINE AND REFRESHMENTS, thoughtfully curated to appease the variety as guests mingle throughout the event. Notably, attendees can savor the coastal charm that themes this event with our selection of COCKTAILS and MOCKTAILS, arranged around seaside notions and motifs.

 

SEA BREEZE MOCKTAIL 

Presented in a frosted white class, the mocktail is composed of cranberry and grapefruit notes- symphonically tart and sweet simultaneously. As a finishing touch, a verdant lime wedge is skewed onto the side to add as a citrusy addition or as a simple aesthetic addition. 

 

LAYERED GIN PINEAPPLE COCKTAIL

In a tall, cooled chalice, the alcoholic drink is served in an admirable lemonade yellow color that transitions into a lavender purple. It tastes of primarily pineapple, yet paired with a sharp gin aftertaste. Within these are more subtle notes of mint and niche florals. As a final adornment, mint, lemon, and violas have been added to the top.

 

GRILLED SEAFOOD SKEWERS

A Slender oak rod adorned with a plentiful variety of succulent scallops, shrimp, and halibut- each of which harbored a fragrant smoke taste. Paired with this vast collection of seafood were cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. Altogether, the array was sealed with a light lemon taste and touch of oregano- finalized with salt and pepper.

 

LOBSTER ROLL 

A fresh rye bun with golden crust paired with buttery lobster topped with chives, lemon zest, and celery. Upon first taste, however, one could note an unexpected heat, as a concoction of hot spices has been added to give the roll an additional kick.

 

Embrace anticipation and mystery by joining our guessing game, centered around a displayed JAR OF SHELLS. The guest who submits an answer closest to the real, hidden number will win not only the jar of beautiful shells but also a prize of 20 minae. 

 

Additionally, two pieces curated by Clan Val’taelu’s Kerok Layeh llye will be presented for AUCTION. Guests may bid throughout the night until the end of festivities. To promote longevity, no buyout will be presented and bids will begin at only 20 minae each.
