Leh-iy to the loyal Mouth of Rah’tuma and may the Gods bless your homes,

This writ, empowered by the authority of PHARAOH ATEMU-TA, officiates the BANISHMENT of the TRIBE OF LUCERAN and ARVEL AHMOSKHNUM TOA from the borders of Rah’tuma.

SUMMARIZATION OF THE CRIMES OF THE TRIBE OF LUCERAN

The TRIBE OF LUCERAN has been seen to disrespect the PHARAOH, put his divine authority and mental health into question, and have routinely caused disruptions of peace within our blessed walls; with the husband of ESMERAY LUCERAN, JAHTEP-RA, going out of his way to disrespect not only the PHARAOH and his VIZIER, but the GODS THEMSELVES, for which he was punished physically by ZEEVA TAL by orders of the PHARAOH. Prior to this trial, members of the TRIBE OF LUCERAN and their accomplices came to the PHARAOH and demanded for him to partake in the Isfetian practice of “therapy.” Why allow blemished souls to do what the unblemished, purifying Heka of Lady HESTHOR can do within an instant? This is contrary to the beliefs our ancestors have held since the times of the Great Naseret. Why tear down thousands of years of tried-and-true beliefs and customs for those that have clearly only assimilated few of our Mouth’s customs?

By the LAWS OF KA’TAU, these actions would be charged as criminal and the guilty would receive PHYSICAL PUNISHMENT, or, in the extreme case, EXECUTION, However, our Pharaoh, ATEMU-TA, is an extremely merciful ruler and has merely allowed the TRIBE OF LUCERAN to leave despite its youngest charge, a goblin named BONES LUCERAN, drawing his weapon before the Pharaonic Throne and threatening harm to the PHARAOH, his VIZIER, the Ahurhemtempi Netjer of Lord RA, SILAS, the Netjer of Lady HESTHOR, OSIRIS-HA BRYLYNN, and the loyal Machimoi, ZEEVA TAL and CIDHAN-RA, present at their trial.

CRIMES CHARGED AGAINST THE TRIBE OF LUCERAN

The committed crimes against Rah’tuma by the TRIBE OF LUCERAN are as followed, according to the LAWS OF KA’TAU:

LAW 29 - “I have not acted hastily or without thought.”

LAW 30 - “I have not overstepped my boundaries of concern.”

LAW 35 - “I have not spoken angrily or arrogantly.”

SECTION II - GENERAL LAWS

LAW 40 - “All converts to the Rah’mun faith must assimilate into Rah’tuma’s culture. Failure to assimilate will result in a warning. Should the warned continue to refuse assimilation, they will face banishment from the city.”

SENTENCING OF THE TRIBE OF LUCERAN

Showing his mercy and being guided by TE’UTH’s infinite wisdom, PHARAOH ATEMU-TA sentenced the TRIBE OF LUCERAN to BANISHMENT from the borders of Rah’tuma; never to set foot within our blessed lands again IN PERPETUUM.

Additionally, the TRIBE OF LUCERAN is stripped of all their Rah’mun titles and names, the Tribe shall not use their Rah’mun names again IN PERPETUUM.

SUMMARIZATION OF THE CRIMES OF ARVEL AHMOSKHNUM TOA

Coinciding with the BANISHMENT of the TRIBE OF LUCERAN, their accomplice, ARVEL AHMOSKHNUM TOA, is charged guilty for conspiracy against PHARAOH ATEMU-TA. This Mali’ker has routinely questioned our cultural ways and how we enact judgment upon criminals within the Mouth of Rah’tuma and has debated the PHARAOH about his decisions on several occasions.

Along with his involvement with the TRIBE OF LUCERAN, he has:

  • Exposed the PHARAOH’s son, ATUM, to the Isfetian practices of VOIDAL MAGIC with the reasoning to save the life of the prince.

  • Insulted CIDHAN-RA, a highly-respected Machimoi of the PHARAOH.

  • Insulted the VIZIER OF RAH’TUMA, declaring him “A pathetic excuse for a Vizier.”

Upon sitting on the bench in front of her home, she gets her hands on the paper.

"Interesting." - "Welp! That's that. Gotta get back to work," She stands up from the bench going in to spin like a sim and get into uniform.

She closes the door behind her, spectating the farmlands before riding off to one of the taverns she works at.

How she has found a new passion, farming and bartending!
Was all the drama worth it to get here? Abso-*******-lutely.

Believe it or not, life doesn't end when you are banished. You move on.

The Luceran family stands on the sand, giggling and sharing burritos. The run around in the dirt, splashing into water. Teaching eachother how to swim and being, well. .  a family! Things they have never done before. They toast drinks together, race from Point A to Point B.

They hold onto their paper lanterns, before striking the match to light the candle within them.

"We wish for new beginnings!"

As the paper lanterns fly off into the sky, even if their wish is not answered by the lantern. The reality of life will always bless them with such. For The Luceran Family will never have regrets, as their past is what builds them up. For The Luceran family will never be about vengance, justice will be served in other ways.

For we have learned, we do not need to be hands on with everything. Life will take its course, and natural consequences will come with life. Even for them, that is. Soon, the family will grow and flourish.

Bones would have seen the writ upon a missive board. At first, he was angry, knowing this wasn't the full story...

But then, he let it go. He decided to move on.

He has the only thing he has ever wanted. The thing he killed Draz Kulzatter to defend. The thing which was unjustly ripped from his at a young age that he has vowed to never lose again.

His family.

And as long as he has that, no matter what happens, he will be okay.

ESMERAY Luceran somehow gets her hands on the missive, and scans it over with pursed lips. With gentle fingers, she folds it up and tosses it into the open flames of her fireplace.

"My eyes have been open to truth after being closed for so long. I am now free to give all my children my time and unconditional affection." she rubs her stomach with adoration and speaks to it. "My moon child - how I cannot wait to meet you. You, Trekker, Revekka, and Bones, shall now get the chance at the life you deserve - free from unrealistic expectations and the tyranny of a delusional ruler."

The expecting mother pushes herself onto her feet and waddles out of their brand new house. She leans on the entry way and watches her family enjoying their newfound joy.

The Princess of Rah'tuma Nephtys sits alone on a bench reading a letter from Esmeray, tears well up in her eyes before she quickly wipes them away. Nephtys looks over the missive of the banishment before speaking to herself.

"Stay safe my friends I'll miss you all, I'm sorry this has happened...."

Nephtys wipes away a few more tears before moving to write a letter back to Esmeray.

A particular dark-eyed druid would come across the missive in one of their many, many travels, they take it from where it had been pinned, up the mountanous north with them, where only the snarling winds and crunching of snow to bear witness to them reading it, it had become a habit, as their place of work had become oh so hectic for them to sit down and read for an extended period of time.

They recalled one time they had met the Pharaoh, a man of much poise but no substance to match, brought to the tavern by a girl they had seen grow into a now young woman. They had taught her how to use a sword, how to stand up for herself. With this missive, they were now certain, with nothing but pride swelling in their heart.

That they had taught her well.

Trekker, finding this notice, would laugh as he was not mentioned on the writ of banishment,he would also chuckle as he thought one of the crimes were added solely because of him.
