Issued by the

COUNTY OF AYR

On the 2nd day of Joma and Umund of 542 E.S.

TO THE PEOPLE OF THE MOUNTAINS AND THE LAKES,

It is with great sorrow and profound dismay that House Baruch announces the grievous disappearance of the Right Honorable Countess of Ayr, Lady Maira Baruch. The hour is dark, and the nature and motive of those who may have wrought this dreaded act remain shrouded in mystery. Yet let it be known, the Greyguard shall not rest, nor shall they falter, until the foul perpetrators are brought to justice and made to answer for their wickedness.

We call upon all who possess the courage and wisdom to aid in this search to reach out to acting Lord-Regent Ruslan Baruch, heir apparent of the County of Ayr and devoted brother to the Countess. Though the circumstances are dire, we maintain hope that Countess Maira remains alive and well, awaiting her return to the safety of her home.

Moreover, let it be proclaimed throughout the land that a great bounty shall be bestowed upon any who bring forth true and useful knowledge of Lady Maira's fate or the identity of those who have brought this tragedy upon us. Rich rewards and the eternal gratitude of House Baruch shall be theirs, for no stone shall be left unturned in our quest to see justice served and our beloved Countess returned.

May the heavens guide us, and may the Countess Maira Baruch soon be restored to us.

BY MOUNTAIN, RIVER, AND COAL,

The Honorable, Ruslan Baruch, Lord of the County of Ayr,

Esfir, who too knew the terror of captivity, began to pen a few letters to her guards in Balian, as well as the Baruch Regent. And then, after uttering a quick prayer for the Countess's safety, preparations to assist in the quest began.
