Important News and Events - Haelun’ors Local and Global news column

The Silver State has recently announced the transition back into a Republic, leaving Larihei’s children more freedoms and liberties within elCihi. As such, elSohaer has been kind enough to indulge us on a bit about each Okarir!

Our first Medi’ir, Ardyll, is an individual that shies away from the public eye. We believe he may have himself locked up to attend to various stacked up documents and plans pertaining to our external affairs that may require his utmost attention. Our second Medi’ir has been named as Veralya Wynasul, formerly a Princess of Celia’nor. She appears to actively engage in her duties, pertaining to the internal affairs of elCihi and aiding elOkarir on the matters. Cresence Sythaerin has been seen acting as the ‘new’ Okarir’maher, returning to her previous duties within the library. Her latest project seems to be cataloging each piece of literature within. The young Osar was named as Okarir’tayna, involving himself in the magical affairs of the state. Though we have not yet seen much of him yet, we believe him to be hard at work with plans and plots galore. There is our Okarir’akaleh Vesryn, a man we know little about. Though he is the one to control taxes and stewardry, we have seen little of him as of yet. Lastly, we may only assume the newest position of Okarir’raelltehral is Ante’ahern Wynasul, alchemist and husband of Medi’ir Veralya Wynasul. 

 

Recently a trial was held for Soris, called upon for conspiring with the Vale against the Silver State. Though this trial was an exciting event for the public, Soris herself never showed up to defend the allegations the council thrust upon her. With that, we can only assume that Soris is guilty of her crimes.

 

Whispers in the Wind - Haelun’ors gossip column

ElOkarir Osar was seen dancing at the recent Sythaerin Ball with both Vivien Maelstorm and Kylvaine Oranelisa. Might Osar perhaps be a womanizer of sorts, or just indecisive with his dancing partner? 

 

Along at the Sythaerin Ball was Soris, who’s been much of the recent talk due to her trial. With such an esteemed event, Soris was seen in an awfully scandalous outfit revealing much of her leg to those who attended. Could this impure fashion statement be a statement for her distaste of Haelun’ors purity?

 

Rykard vôrt Caran, a mali new to the lands of Haelun’or has been seen with a beard any valah would kill for, yet is this beard natural– or via alchemical means? Being seen talking to the alchemist Ante’ahern, perhaps he has been aided with the luscious beard he sports…

 

An Interview with Ante’ahern Wynasul… 

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Ante’ahern Wynasul, husband to Veralya Wynasul and seasoned craftsmen of all sorts.

 

What are your inspirations with your work?

I find the material world to be most intriguing above all other things, and the depths of what one can tap into has still not been truly realized.

 

What are some things you would want to change, given the chance? 

I don’t have any qualms with the state present, I educate and operate as I’m comfortable and that is fine with me.

 

Do you have any close friends, and who might they be?

Soris was someone I considered a close friend, though I don’t see her as often anymore. The rest I’ve associated with recently have solely been family or servants in my home. However, I do occasionally make a trip to Balian and visit a friend I made there, Tahorran.

 

What should your goals be with your alchemical resources?

My goal is to better the entirety of Haelun’or through the progress my knowledge brings. I plan to spread my philosophies and work on our internal industry.

Osar is a handsome ‘thill with ashy-blond hair and emerald green eyes with a fervent loyalty to the Silver State.  The lad appears awfully straight-laced, which may prove well should he enter into a relationship! Let us hope his schedule clears up for a future courtship.

Cresence Sythaerin glances at the copy that had slid its way onto her desk, muttering something beneath her breath about another thing to record, before quietly speaking; "At least they had something good to say."

"Wait... I'm on the council?" Exited the crimson alchemist as this news had been delivered to Ante'ahern thanks to a devout household servant. "That is a strange way to find out..." The man murmured before laying the missive onto another pile of papers.

Rykard had been minding his own business, before his Maln passed him the paper. He peered it over, before he furrowed his brows "What in the hells? An alchemical beard- I don't even remember talking to an alchemist.." A mix of confusion and partial frustation washed over his face before he passed the paper back "A load of none-sense.. As if my beard was from alchemical means.."

Valindra both rejoiced that the Gazette had returned but also mourned over the return of the Republic, previously the bane of her existence in Haelun'or.

Nearing the meager name date of 300, no piece of a newsletter ever brought more somber to Vylarr before than this gazette from reading the last section. This mali'thill kept close minded thoughts throughout his service of el'Sillumir. The morning breeze reminded days younger, when the malaurir he once swore to protect was now being laid across with hate by a number in current state. All he could do is watch and bid Seth well, wherever he was.

 

Despite living with conflicted differences, he remains in Haelun'or wherever it transitions. Bounded to follow his sacred oath, he donned the same uniform and ushered a comment as he prepared to conduct a routinely patrol. "Diraaran'ayla annilnan ahereyae."
