With the signing and promulgation of this document, the Commonwealth of the Petra & Margravate of Beleth, henceforth referred to as ‘the signatories’, do agree on their honour to the terms laid forth hereafter.

ARTICLE I

SOVEREIGNTY
 

The Commonwealth of the Petra and the Margravate of Beleth, or henceforth ‘the signatories’, recognise each other’s sovereignty over their territories, titles, and vassals, including any of the three that the signatories may come to possess in the duration of the pact. 

 

ARTICLE II

NON-AGGRESSION
 

The signatories pledge to maintain peace and goodwill between each other. They shall not wage war upon one another, support attacks on each other either directly or indirectly- Such as through financial or material aid- Or try to bring harm to the political stability of one another’s realms.
 

ARTICLE III

CONDITIONAL DEFENCE
 

The signatories may raise arms in defence of one another if they choose to do so, or if they are under the belief that both of their close borders are threatened. However, both signatories reserve the right to withhold military aid if they have any financial, political, strategic, or moral reason to believe it an unwise action for their sovereign state.

 

ARTICLE IV

EXTRADITION
 

The signatories pledge to assist each other with extradition requests and shall not support criminals with hiding or otherwise escaping from the authorities of the signatory they transgressed in.

 

ARTICLE V

DURATION
 

This agreement shall last until such time as the signatories reconvene to negotiate new terms, or until either signatory sees fit to end it.
