Ludvika's eyes went wild as she snatched the letter from her little sister Reza's hands. "What do you mean?" she sob-shouted. "He—he wrote me nothing!" The frantic playwright's voice cracked. "I was just as much his sister as you!" @Phoebe202

The gates of Isaakev stood silent as Sigmund approached, his breath visible in the cold air up in the snowy mountains. As he entered the base there lay a figure, crumpled and lifeless, the snow and dirt beneath stained a deep crimson.  Sigmund's steps faltered as he drew closer, hand resting upon the hilt of his blade as he made way. The man's head appeared to be mutilated, leaving behind an almost unrecognizable visage of cruelty. Yet, Sigmund would notice the armor and weapon. This was his father.

Sigmund's stomach churned upon the realization as he fell to his knees, before noticing a letter. He'd eventually gather the strength to carry his father's body to his chambers inside the Isaakev. After laying his father down, Sigmund read the letter, anger rising within him as his eyes shifted to his father's sword.

"Whoever did this.. they shall perish by vyr sword. But I shall continue vyr work as head of this family and as Duke of Kvasz. I swear it, papej. I swear."

Renata Ludovar heard the bells toll from the tower of Kvasz, shortly after receiving word from the servants with-in the halls. "He's gone," she mutters to Antonio, the words hollow and disbelieving, as though saying them aloud might make them untrue. "How will we tell the children.." She croaked out.

Juliya of Reinmar gestured for the late Duke to come forth towards her and Marius. A warm smile was present on her visage as she was arm-in-arm with her dear husband.

"My good friend, come -- enjoy eternal happiness."
