Amongst that tall Martyr within the legions of hellspawn, the ghostly figure of a woman would be seen perched upon the shoulder of the Zar'akal. O' how sweet the siren's voice was, as it whispered to R E N her desire for more calamity and destruction. Bathed in blood, burned in fire, these two souls would dance forever.

A woman. Red-haired and fiery. Traced the scars that lined her once Elfen ears. "I hope I can meet you again, Ren. Dear Scribe of Him. Maybe then, I could be a better student and follower. But, my work isn't done, my soul isn't mine. I follow the whims of Velkuzat, the great goat, the devourer of all. You set me on this path and have given me great gifts in the short time we knew eachother. The least I can do is repay you by carrying the faith." Intricate lines that traced the entirety of her body, burns that originated from her left palm. She remembered that day and pain well. The first of many sacrifices from her, and gifts from Ren and Velkuzat. They began to glow a purple as goat-like features appeared on her body.

"I hope wherever you are, you are raising hell and carrying the faith of Him. Dear Scribe. May faith guide you in His halls and Hells."

Spoiler

This may contain: an owl with red eyes is sitting on a tree branch in front of the moon

Skulking in the shadows, a single crow observed the final moments of the scribe. A shriek and caw heard as it made flight away from the final moments of the lord of Belvedere. Returning to a Warlock draped in green occult wear. A mask set aside on a table, next to a bolt with blacken blood upon its tip. The crow's maw opened wide, creaking and cracking as it replayed the final moments with the flames of hell for its master.

"So he is no more? The loss of his knowledge and influence will be a void not filled so easily. Shall ensure that void is not wasted, as he would have wanted"

The warlock spoke, without a change in voice or tone. Though the weight of this loss affected him. He saw the truth and knew what must be done. Swiping at the crow, it would fly into a skin grafted tome nearby. Slinking into the pages in a flare of crimson light. Leaving the injured warlock to stew and skulk. A mere candle nearby to illuminate his face.

I just want to say, it was a blast being under you. From being introduced to the character REN, to evolving into a free agent that learned of the Naztherak world. Though I will admit not the most strict follower, I would of have no other person introduce me into the spook community. REN is a character that broke the norms of demon RP, and offered a unique space in the community. I hope to interact with him in some way again in the future.

It was a true honor, and you had an amazing run. I hope to be able to have my character live up to the expectations you left, and that all goat followers continue to be the goats they are.

Erwin Barclay lifted the head of the felled goat with a self-satisified grin as he rode back to his home of Kretzen. He'd offer the burning trees of Belvedere one last look before galloping off.

Herman Stroheim, a green Reinmaren new to the eternal war against evil, had trouble sleeping the night after.

The fear he experienced during was insurmountable . . .

Yet the courage conjured was overpowering.

Though the thought always lingered; Will they be back?

The Witch retreated to the nearby forests. Her allies and mentors had been hunted down, one by one.

"O' how far the wicked have fallen." she muttered.

"You perished well," Vriza said to a statue he had erected in the image of the fallen Zar'akal. "The work of our master shall be carried forth in your name."

Magda sat in silence, unknowing of Elren's passing, but reminiscent of her youth and the role he played in it.

After all, with every plate she saw, she thought of the gluttonous man who became a beast.

The Nightshade swayed gently upon the sea, rocking its crew through their slumber, all except Ruven. The blue devil was awake as usual, an empty stare fixed on the hammock above. Ordinary amnesia was a blessing, unfortunately for him, his memories were cherry picked to be the worst of his experiences, one such dwelled on his mind tonight. Nasty, untrimmed claws hovered over his hellish visage as he pondered the first cracks of his brand, planted by Tallow's own will through his foolish youth.

"Prince."

The shadow beneath him bubbles and stirs.

"O' Prince of Desolation. . . Izh'zuun, my Fading Light. . ." it purred.

"Leave me alone," he utters beneath his breath, careful not to wake his roommate above, "Oh, but I bring good tidings! Your teacher, REN, has perished," he jolts awake to the claws of his familiar sunk into his shoulder.

"No, impossible."

"But it is! This is what you wanted, no?" its infernal words toyed with his loosely strung mind like a ball of yarn, "Yes but- it-" his words are drowned out by the striith's twisted laughter, a cat-shaped silhouette loomed by his side, "It should've been you, you should've ended him ~ useless again, Izh'zuun?" Ruven is rendered silent. Across the creature's desolate form its eyes crack open, no mouth or nose - just eyes, all thirteen of them illuminated its master's abominable form.

"You are a disappointment," it relished the words, "to the world and hells alike."
