Your Experience : I have done a few minior guard jibs around towns and have picked up a habit of it, i have fought in the defence of oren.

Describe Yourself : I am a calm and level headed person who belives that justice will always find its way to the people who deserve it, i am determind and am always willing to do what is nesseccery.

I read lots of books and look at what people have done well in the past amd learnt from where they did poorly, I don't hold grudges and i don't judge people before i've talked to them.

Why should we recruit you? : I am a loyal person who belives in justice, i can follow orders but am willing to make dessicions when required.

What are your strengths? Weaknesses? : i am good at long range combat and sabotarge but when it comes to close quaters i can use my sword masterfully

Do you know how to handle a weapon? [sword/Axe Skill Level] : Skills have been disabled but when they come back up the sword skill will be my main aim

Ambitions For The Future? : to bring justice to the world and to uphold the peace

What would your character do in the following situation.

:A group of bandits are camped on the Kings Road. Ordering a toll for passing. Its only you and two other recruits on duty. You decide to grab some armour and head out there. What do you do? [+Points For Thinking About It And Being More, Tactical] :

Option 1) (if there where 3 or less bandits) i would tell the other two recruits to take the high ground and wait in ambush and tell them to only attack when i say i am "to poor", The i would walk up the raod and meet the bandits, When the bandits aproch me i would tell them i don't have that kind of money, i am "to poor" to feed my family. At this point the two other recruit would of jumped from the high ground and taken the bandits by surprise, i would quickly draw my sword and join in the fight, therefore evening the odds.

Possitive: i am only putting myself in most danger

Negative: Relying on suprise and stealth

Option 2) (if there where 4-6 bandits) i would tell the recruit to pick up bows and arrows, we would follow the hills of the kings road untill we found the bandit camp. We would set up some quick defence boundries (like trenches and bunkers) so it would slow the bandits down if they got closer, once the defences where made i would tell my fellow recruits to take out their bows and aim at 1 bandit each to cause damage and to bring fear in to there camp, then (1) If they routed and left thier camp we would go down and take anything they left back tp oren as evidence (2) If the charged i would tell my fellow recruits to keep firing, as they came up the hill the would slow down and lose men due to the bows and arrows, If they got close i would tell the men to draw their swords and fight them off, The trenches and bunkers would limit the ammount of bandits that could attack at one time.

Possitive: i am perparing in advance for the worst

Negative: i am going aginst the odds

Option 3 (if there where 7 or more bandits) I would Set up a diversion around the camp , helping the travelers getting past while i sent one of the recruits to get reinforements from the neighbouring towns

Positive: i am keeping travelers as safe as possible

Negative: i am not dealing with the bandit threat and they could attack, which would end up with us proberbly dieing

P.S please add more detail to the situation, Like where abouts on the kings road, how well armed are they? and how many their are.

Describe Yourself : I am a lord of a little fort which is used to protect a city from undead attacks. I was recruited and ranked quickly as there was a battle and they needed to replace fallen men. I was able to kill about 13 mobs with a diamond sword before having to be taken to the medic. I was then put in charge of the fort and have been ever since. But lately peopl have been leaving and so i need a job somewhere else. I think this is perfect.

Why should we recruit you? : I need a job and i can help protect oren. I am pretty skilled with the sword and usually carry one with me at all times. I also like the uniform :)

What are your strengths? Weaknesses? : I am strong in every part except maybe new commands and lag. My only weakness is lag when there is a lot of lava and fire.

Do you know how to handle a weapon? [sword/Axe Skill Level] : I have a decent skill level for the axe (15) and the sword (20).

Ambitions For The Future? : To rank up and meet the king and protect him as a bodyguard.

What would your character do in the following situation.

:A group of bandits are camped on the Kings Road. Ordering a toll for passing. Its only you and two other recruits on duty. You decide to grab some armour and head out there. What do you do? [+Points For Thinking About It And Being More, Tactical] :

We would first send a scout. The scout would be given 5 minutes to return. If he doesnt something has gone wrong. If he returns we shall continue and send 1 guard to tell them to move. If there are more than 5 of them we shall call back-up but if there is less than 5 we can take them on. We will warn them and if they refuse to move we will kill them. If we lose 1 men the 2 of us move out and wait until back-up. If the scout doesnt return we will use bows to attack them. We will make tree-hides and shoot them from there. If we are spotted we will attack.

Anyone who wants to be a guard must be able to use Iron swords effectively ((that's means 30+ on the swordsmanship I believe)) otherwise you will be unable to fight properly in combat situations. This is my belief anyway - but you may get away with less than that; NO WOODEN SWORD USERS PLEASE

ATTENTION GUARDS!!

The blacksmith is now up and running and I will be doing repairs of any armour, tool, or weapon. As long as you bring both the item you need repaired, and the reagents required to repair it ((it an iron ingot for an iron armour piece/sword, a diamond for a diamond one)). All repairs will be FREE OF CHARGE for guards. Remember that the blacksmithing building is the one immediately on the right as you enter the military ward. We will also smelt ores free for guards (I think). We need all soldiers to have good armour for duty in case of trouble so come and get it repaired when you can. Donations of coal in even the smallest amounts are welcome for smelting in the future.

((I am generally on between 6-9pm GMT so then is the best time to contact me. My MC name is Lord_Kashi. If there are any other blacksmiths who can repair either iron or diamond please post here, because repairing 50 different items for Felix is not all that fun. :P. ))

Luke Bradshawe, are you a member of both the Oren Guard and the Galahar Pages? If so I would check to see if this is OK with Felix as you may need to fulfill different criteria for each job. The work of a page will be different to that of a guard, and you may struggle. If you do, I would suggest choosing just one of the jobs so that you are not receiving twice the pay for a worse job due to being unable to complete the tasks both jobs require of you. This not a demand nor an order; just a suggestion.

Your Experience : I spent some time in aegis when i was much younger, the reason i had left aegis was mainly because i was getting 'involved' with matters i that didn't concern me, in other words, i started supporting the undead. But that is all behind me

Why should we recruit you? : I am spend time thinking of battle tactics as I have little else to do other then wander the streets, I also like to improve and listen to orders for the good of the people

What are your strengths? Weaknesses? : I can be trusted by my comrades to help get jobs done, but my main weakness is money, I have a passion for the stuff, minas can lead to my downfall, but I try to keep it out of my mind

[+Points For Thinking About It And Being More, Tactical] : I have one of the men remove the armour to look harmless and approach the bandits until they demand the toll, while me and another person move around the back while the bandits are distracted and strike, making them weak on both flanks.
