In my time, I have bided quietly. I have sat with my thoughts before I came to speak. I have been privy to the mistakes made by those close to me, and have dealt with them in accordance to not only what is best for myself, but my family and the reputation we are to uphold. Once again, I find myself doing the latter for the discrepancies occurring in my own home at a meeting that lacked my attendance and was helmed by my heir in my stead.

I. DISRESPECT TO THE HOUSE RUTHERN.

Within the past 28 winters of my marriage to Belisar var Ruthern, insults have been far and few between. As partners, we and our family are bound inextricably through oath and blood, and in turn, are to hold respect and open arms. An insult to the Ruthern name is an insult to the Korvacz name.

II. THE QUESTIONING OF A LADY’S HONOR.

One would assume with a marriage of his own, children of his own, that such a man would understand how to treat a woman, especially one with title and esteemed heritage, with respect. It is not a sin to fail to do so, but it is the beginning of decency to comply with such ideals. Out of my respect for and relation to Lady Isabel vas Ruthern, it crosses boundaries to have these inquiries beneath my roof. 

 

Apologies or not, it is wisest to think before conducting. It will not happen again.
