Player(s) Being Reported

FelicorAugusto, Echo_42069

Rule(s) Broken

Metagaming, Bad Faith Conflict.

Player(s) Involved

ReverseNebula55, FelicorAugusto, Echo_42069

Explanation

Upon a conflict, involving multiple parties that boiled down to my Automata CA (Yyrona), being the last one remaining to combat 2 necromancers, a darkstalker, and 3 minions - a secondary overclock was started, and used too prolong the conflict briefly, but also, in the end rendering the Automata dead, due the restrictions of having overclocked twice during the encounter.

After Yyrona's death, which was fine with me, and an expected outcome - Felicor and Echo, both used such an excuse to fully render my character dead (despite him already being dead.) too remove the Gear Heart, and from what I have gathered of the Animatii CA rules, basically PK the character (seeing as it cannot be constructed, and the heart was stolen after already being rendered inoperable) - simply because they could.

From garnered evidence, neither Echo or Felicor's characters are Animatii Crafters, so it bears the question too how they knew how to permanently kill the Automata, at the same time as to why they did it, seeing as it was already dead, with a shattered core, and with no real IC justification to how it would've been applicable. The main part of it being bad-faith, is showcased within the doc, but correlates to OOC messages exchanged, and the potential debate that transpired earlier in the conflict, that was settled by Anti_Society, with an ST ruling.

Evidence of uncooperative conduct.

Evidence

N/A, I was talking of it and was informed that it was a potential case.

Desired Result of Report

If the ruling declares it as not metagaming, and their knowledge had been applicable - and that it wasn't, in any real way bad faith, I'll happily, and without conflict keep the outcome of the heart being taken.
However, if it is declared as such, I'd like the encounter to simply be reverted back to YYRONA'S DEATH, the items can be kept and all, the only request would be the return of the heart.

I don't have much to say. I was present at the conflict, but if this isn't an abuse of the d20 rule and bad-faith roleplay, then I don't know. I am sure moderators have proof of the other interactions. So, I'd add something that happened within this combat roleplay, which involved Felicor's poor conduct.

This is about another conflict but it's worthing due to what happened above:

This actually brings up some conflict and confusion I had with the Drogo. Since Felicor had it has his main pet he commands around. As a redline, you can't tame them. But you can use them as undead servants which felt weird.

I have had a tense interaction with him but I have no screenshots so I will leave it at that.

How is making somebody d20 after a death, when it is a specific clause in the rules, bad faith itself?

Me and Echo aren't, but our teacher (TPMechanicus) is. I've been around him long enough, and my character has lived long enough being 90 years old) to know that golem hearts exist. Your character's chest was also smashed open. AFAIK, the existence of a golem heart is not private FA information.

Yep. Have that every single interaction. You can't tame a Drogokroko because it is a wild animal, but you can revive them, because its an animal. Reviving an animal itself does not bind it to you - your oculus does. Smash the oculus and it goes haywire and attacks everybody around it

Hi there, The core was not taken just for clarification, the core was shattered in many pieces and was thrown away into the river IRP no physical item was taken nor mechanically or IRP, As for me personally i have fought a few automation on this persona and have discovered this mechanic IRP additionally our teacher and felicor know this also.

"3. The victor of the combat scenario allows the losing party to either soulstone or /d20. Using either prematurely or in bad-faith can result in a perma-kill the losing party’s characters."

as per the combat rules

We were in our right to do this.

The player that was d20'd emoted dying even though what happened to him does not kill them.

Not gonna lie, using player event only creatures to gain advantage in crp is a really bad practice unless it was agreed upon both parties.

Also for animal undead - they classify as lesser meaning: These creatures cannot be complex in nature

  • Creatures larger than humans or elves, or complex in nature, such as some Story Team played creatures, cannot be prepared with this technique.

  • These creations cannot be outfitted with weapons or armor and instead rely on ferocity and nature’s design.

Yeah, I know my redlines. But again,, it's not like I just randomly decided this.

I use a Drogokroko because when I was first starting out in Necromancy, I could not use a humanoid. My teacher recommended a Drogokroko, because he had killed one in a player event and had no use for it.

Plus- it's an ST signed item saying that I can use it. You can only use them in a player event because they can't be tamed, because they're wild animals. But this is a reanimation, not some pet.
