My friends and I have explored the cave long before it was recently updated. IRP we figured we should go check out the cave as we've heard from someone IRP that it could be a darkspawn lair. We had gone to check it out and we ended up running into something completely new to us compared to the first time we've ever explored these caves. My friends and I were quite invested in what we found and it had a storyline connected to it as well! We explored and soon were able to connect the dots as it didn't seem like a confusing plot to the storyline. We had to leave soon after we found some items that we took IRP.

Fast forward to the next day, my character approaches a few of the ppl who came with him to explore that cave and decided we should check it out for more clues. We'd end up going back to check it out and Bacardi would be invisible within the tunnels. Once we reached a certain area (Don't want to spoil what the area is in case anyone hasn't seen it yet.) Bacardi decided they were going to RP an interaction with us! We would end up fighting a darkspawn that was Barcardi and it was a very pleasant interaction. After we killed the darkspawn, bacardi made it so what we found on the darkspawn would contribute to the plot of the storyline. I would talk about it oocly to my friends who were there irp as I was very excited to see what would happen when it gets expanded or added on to if ever! Bacardi is a nice person and I'm very thankful for the work they've done in the caves and their storyline.

Hoping some day Bacardi might be able to finish it. My friends also agree and think that the storyline and the build up to it was very interesting. THANK YOU BACARDI!

The caverns this map made entirely by Barcardi were really, really good. There were always new spots to map out, & if ur not careful you can pretty easily get lost down there- which by no means is something to complain about.

It's unfortunate that they had to dip from the team though.

used this cave to host training events for the celia'diraar last yr, it was a fantastic source of rp

sad to see that Barcardi was kicked from WT but then again, LoTC Admin shooting themselves in the foot is about as common as breathing so this isn't that surprising

godspeed barcardi, enjoy retirement and freedom

The caves were fantastic and very soulful.

Sad to see Barcardi and their immense dedication to bringing these cool builds to the playerbase go.
Thank you for all your hard work!

Figured since some people might not know what i'm talking about, I built the long-range cave systems underneath Aevos. I even chucked a map together with the updated regions, which unfortunately would've been larger if that depature was around 4 hours later. That blocked section is 80% done and was the expansion from the rear of Vault 3, it was awaiting the final biome alterations and world edit commands to texture it and I was gonna roll it out tonight.

Section 2 is slightly outdated, the Norland paste broke a lot of the tunnels towards the southern region but a lot of it still stands.

Again though, really nice to see these messages guys. Genuinely do appreciate the support.

The caves have been a fantastic addition. Working with bacardi and hyspia to set up a spook area within them to haunt the caves has been truly wonderful. I hope that the caves will remain, and people will continue to do things within them, as well as prehaps they become the source for some ST event focused items in the future.

Thank you Barcadi! You will always be the Lord of the Caves!

the caves were cool until it felt like they were actively being changed to protect a player group and provide them a hidden entrance into their lair beyond their build region

Exploring the caves have been so much fun, whether just seeing what there was to see, or fighting a vampire played by Barcardi themselves. My interactions have been very few, but it is sad to seen Barcardi kicked from ST.

Thank you, Barcardi, for giving our characters amazing RP opportunities, whether directly, or as this post shows, indirectly.
