I, GRUGMAK, Raid-Speaker of the Horde of Many Tribes, have outwitted you. In the hour where your people thought they were safe, when you had let down your guard and believed yourselves superior, GRUGMAK’S WARBAND infiltrated your city. Whereas usually we, the sons of KRUG, do not fear to attack your cities openly, I decided to take a play out of your own book. We snuck in, and before you even realized we were there, we had one of yours bound and made our get-away.

 

But I, GRUGMAK, am not without my lust for battle, nor am I a mindless brute as many of you dogs think I am. I offer you the opportunity to rescue the soldier we have captured. If you, the Kingdom of Hyspia, meet us in the open field in the desert, we will let your soldier go. If not, we will kill her. This is a one-on-one challenge. Should you bring your allies in an attempt to outnumber us, we will kill her. You have one “Saint’s Hour”, as you call it, to meet us in battle. If you wish for her to live, you will bring Hyspians and ONLY Hyspians in battle, so we may finally decide who of us are the better fighters. Make your answer public.
