"Herald of Strife is right. . . this is an insane casus belli." quipped a voidstalker wizard man from atop a tower in his mind.

Estevot read the missive in genuine worry, only to see Aedric's name and laugh hysterically. Poor Haelun'or, having to deal with one half of the Greye twins. Honestly, the most insulting thing is that they gave Aedric such a low price for a ransom, but it didn't matter. Aedric would probably burn down Haelun'or by complete accident while running back to Balian before they ever put him in any real danger.

Owyn Hector chuckles dryly. "Would be more believable and funnier if you had just said you kidnapped the kid and now he's annoying you too much so you're asking for a stupidly high ransom." He rolls his shoulders. "Worry not, Sir Greye, we'll kill all of Haelun'or's seven men and we'll take Aedric back." He spoke to his friend and Knight, then, Sir Aurellius Greye. @xDisarray

Aurellius Greye read the missive as he spoke with a fellow comrade and friend, Owyn. He let out a good laugh. “I am net too worried Owyn. I’m sure soon enough they will be sick of him and release him back. If we do net see him soon we will go get him ourselves.” @Navigator

"AEDRIC?" gasped the boy's horrified twin, Aurus. The grief he has experienced in the last few days was overpowered by the need for his brother. "What have they done with you? Did you not fight back? What happened to your fat jokes??"

Warrin chuckled after seeing Aedric's name on the missive. "They have no idea who they're dealing with."

Meanwhile Aedric sipped the best hot cocao he's ever had, happily chatting with the nice people of the Silver State.

Aedric gives their kidnapping service five stars.

The payment has been received, if not for Aedric then for the woman, Johanna, who took his place.

"Oh Aunty Jo... now their bad behavior has been encouraged..." Aurus tsked and shook his head. "This must be how addictions start... and an addiction to kidnapping, nonetheless." The boy then signed the Lorraine over himself and went to check on his drunk Aunty.

Valindra hoped Aunty Jo would enjoy her bottle of Sillumiran Sparkle as much as the boys enjoyed their glasses of hot cocoa.

Aunty Jo very much did.

Aunty Jo passed out in the wheat fields outside of Portoregne. She snored.

Malna looked at the missive a while after its publishing.

"... At least they gave him drinks? I need to speak with Valindra soon."

The elf murmured, not knowing how the newer people of Haelun'or may take to a wood elf wandering in. Its been a WHILE
