Once upon a time, there was a tavern…

 

Hear now a tale of new beginnings,

 

In the heart of Númendil, where old songs once slumbered in the stones, the tavern stirs to life once more. No longer shall its hearth lie cold, nor its halls empty of laughter. Soon, its doors shall swing wide, warm light spilling onto the streets like a golden river.

 

Within, tables are set and the counter stands ready, eager to welcome the good folk of the realm and the merry wanderers from distant lands. New platters of food, cups of rich drink, and new and old tunes await all who step inside. And with them, a freshly crafted menu filled with delights both familiar and new, tempting all to indulge in the finest fare the tavern has ever seen.

 

On this night, no mina needs to clink and no sorrow needs to linger — only bring your heart for good company and your voice for song. Together, we shall weave a new story in the halls of Númendil, bright and ever bold.

 

 

For what is a tavern, if not the heart where stories are born and legends take root? A nameless tavern is but a shadow, a fleeting whisper lost in the winds. And so, on this Saint’s Day of its grand re-opening, the time has come to grant it a name — one worthy of the tales it shall cradle. One that shall be decided upon by those who are the focus of its stories, the passive observer and the main protagonist alike. A vote shall be held at the end of the saint's night with the suggestions given to the Starry Colborn that graces the counter of the presently nameless tavern.

 

 

Once, in a tavern hidden from the light of day, a challenge was set. On this fateful night, the bravest of hearts gathered ‘round, mugs in hand, eyes bright with daring. Who among them would drink with unbroken spirit, and who would falter before the Golden Tankard? The tale, dear wanderer, awaits you.
