The Empire of Man has grown past its infancy, entering its growing stages. New friends and new quarrels are forged as Man adjusts to its consolidation, all under the purview of the Emperor who keeps the peace. But it is imperative that conflict does not exceed what may sustain the prosperity of Man, even amidst factions of dislike. Hence the Order of the Red Dragon calls upon the men and women of the Empire to partake in a Game where they might gain cathartic joy from besting their enemies.

To the palace-grounds the invitees shall take, a Game beyond pure bloodshed to be thrown. Chances shall be had to show valor, but also cunning, planning and intelligence. The Emperor looks upon the realm, and so too does the Order intrigue itself with those of great competence and ingenuity. The victor of this game shall become a champion of more than just sword, but of ingenuity and intrigue.

✠ T H E  G A M E ✠

 

All citizens of the Realm will be invited to participate, with citizens from select others of the faith too invited. The game will take place as a series of free-for-all bouts, wherein each member must both survive the bout and accomplish an objective to advance to the next round.

 

Upon each round’s start a slip of paper bearing the name of another combatant shall be given to each participant. Additionally a badge bearing each combatant’s signature will be held by themselves. In order to continue to the next round, the bearer of the slip must obtain the badge of the person named in the slip, by downing them, downing whoever obtained their badge, or another method - though note that losing your badge means you are eliminated.

 

Once the badge of your target is obtained, you shall relinquish your armor and cease fighting ‘till the next round starts, whereupon another target shall be given to you. Rounds will continue until one victor, the Empire’s Champion of Vendettas, remains.

 

Strategy and teaming up is allowed, though one must keep in mind that you shall never truly know the target of another. You are not forced to fight those before you, and combatants can attempt to settle the round in however manner they wish should they will it, but too is a bloodbath acceptable.

FFA PVP in rounds. You get a gold nugget which you will sign, losing it means immediate elimination.You get a slip of paper with a name on it each round, upon obtaining the token of the target you immediately advance to the next round and take off your armor, you may not keep fighting, though you may give badges you claimed (that you did not advance with) to others in the match if you wish. No horses, otherwise any kit is allowed, but please don’t camp and just kill everyone with a longbow. You don’t necessarily need to PVP, you can team and try to do special tactics, but I will hand out slips in a non random way so stay on your toes. Using /showitem to reveal your target is not allowed. If in any round there is only one player who remains non-eliminated, they will be declared the victor.

If you fail to follow the rules, e.g. keep fighting when you are supposed to take your armor off and stop fighting when you progress rounds, you will be eliminated going into the next round. Any other sort of cheating will result in the same. Rounds will be ended prematurely and all non advancers eliminated after a while if they stagnate, though this will be announced ahead of time. It is encouraged not to bring RP items as this game involves popping.
