Hey everyone, new to the server just jumping in the introduction forum to say hi.

 

Recently joined as of a couple of days ago and everyone I've met so far has been top tier, appreciate how helpful everyone is in the community as it's a decent amount to get used to.

 

I've been playing MC since I was younger and have a little bit of RP experience from when I used to do more table top gaming/online RP in other games, from the UK but times I'm on can vary cause of my work schedule.

 

Not much more to it than that but since this is a little bit basic and I chose to be a Dwarf (love the Dwedmar) here's a bunch of rubbish jokes relating to fantasy dwarves and the like:

 

1. Why was the Sedimentary Rock so cheap? - It was on Shale

2. Why do Dwarves make great merchants? - Rock bottom prices

3. Why are Dwarves always so reasonable? - We're down to earth

4. Two Dwarves are currently having a beard growing contest - it's neck and neck

5. The police brought in a Rock Golem for interrogation - it finally cracked

6. Why was the Dwarven sword such low quality - Don't be ridiculous, this isn't even part of the joke anymore, Dwarven forged arms are of the finest quality, how could you assume this is even joke number 6, I wouldn't even dare to joke about such fine work that would be crazy

Three quality of life tips incase no one's told you yet: 

 

1. Editing an item with '/edit gui' is peak for item creation.

 

2. When writing letters via the mail system, you do '/notes write /n/' to make a new line

 

3. Always lock your chests with '/lock'! If you don't, you're gunna come home one day with everything taken that isn't nailed down. :P You can also add users to your chests and doors with '/cmodify theirusernamehere' then clicking on the door. You can also make them an admin on the chest/door with '/cmodify @theirusernamehere'

Given that you play a dwarf, most of your playerbase would probably be found in Urguan! As most of my time on LoTC was spent in Urguan - I'm ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED to see dweds getting more and more new players as of late - Urguan is a great nation to start up your journey :)
