ON THE IMAN RASHIDUN

 

This Empire was created from the precipice of holy men and women, their noble sacrifices in the great world-war, and our victory that surmised the unity of all human realms. Yet beyond this, there rings a question–on faith. 

 

We are holy men, all under the purview of the King of Flame, our Lord GOD without peer, and venerably, it is through His Vicar, the most Supreme Pontiff, that our Emperor was crowned. Our land stretches far and wide, it goes from east to west, consuming the continent’s width.

 

Our Lord GOD teaches us to be merciful, and through clemency, our reign is subverted by the hands of a tyrannical ruler. This has been noted by the existence of the non-human, granted the right to live within our prosperous realm.

 

There comes a certain point where we must evaluate ourselves, and to whom may live amongst us. Know it here: it is against the law to practice one’s own faith in public or private–that much is clear. We are not heathens, nor heretics. However, an exception has now applied:

 

The Al-Iman Rashidun is a faith that has seen its rise since the Kharasi Sultanate, from the border of Al-Faiz, to the Rashidun Sultanate. It believes in one core faith: a supreme GOD, and no other. It is a faith of Man, but not the faith of all men. We believe only in one faith: the True Faith, and the Holy Law.

 

However, the Emperor protects, and he protects all those who guide our Empire – one of the True Faith – to expand and grow our most glorious Empire. 

 

It was brought to our attention that the wanton discrimination of our own citizens has been spurned by those who would seek to break the Emperor’s peace. So hear it here, and now:

 

✷ Practice of faith

 

We are – inherently – a strict Empire, but filled by a multifaceted diversity of culture; the practice of exterior faiths is outlawed. Yet despite this, in conjecture to their loyalty, it is so written:

 

✢ Those of the Al-Iman Rashidun are forbidden to practice their faith in any public setting. To do so within their own home, outside of the eyes of our holy people, will be allowed. 

 

✢ Those of the Al-Iman Rashidun are forbidden from converting others to their faith. They are able to teach people about their distinct culture, but besides this, they cannot convince them otherwise that their faith is the right path. The True Faith will always prevail.

 

✢ Those of the Al-Iman Rashidun are forbidden from hosting a place of worship which is not yet itself in their own home. This cannot be advertised as a place of worship either. A prayer room is allowed within the confines of their own house, but it must be kept secured and locked should any faithful men enter.

 

☾ All men of the Iman Rashidun must continue to serve the Empire loyalty, and so, in return, the Emperor protects. This includes: service in the imperial guard, the government, or through paying of taxes. ☾

 

Although these laws are strict, it has been outlined below clearly:

 

✢ Wearing of headwear, known therefore as a Hijab or Burqah for women is allowed. Any harassment will be dealt with by the imperial guards as a public order offence.

 

✢ Wearing of headware, known therefore as a Taqiyah or Topi for men is allowed. Any harassment will be dealt with by the imperial guards as a public order offence.

 

✢ Wearing of clothes that befit the Qalasheen, of their cultural nature, is allowed. Any harassment will be dealt with by the imperial guards as a public order offence.

 

✢ Speaking of the Qalasheen language is permitted to those others of the same culture. The common tongue must be used if speaking to any other citizen.

 

✢ The Qalasheen may practice and pray in private, out of the public's view, in their homes without recourse. 

 

✢ The Qalasheen may sell wares, such as books or clothes within the imperial realm. The sale of any holy or religious book is forbidden. 

 

✢ The Qalasheen may use their own warcries so long as it includes 'For the Emperor'. This is only during wartime and battles.

 

☽ Those of the Iman Rashidun understand that to live in this most Holy Empire of GOD, that the religion of Man across the Imperium is the True Faith. To attempt to dissuade others will be seen as a breach of this agreement, and it will be removed. ☽

 

The moment this privilege is abused, it will be removed.

 

WORD FROM THE LORD JUSTICIAR,

The Qalasheen have since served the Empire faithfully, they have joined the ranks of the Imperial Guard, with two, Zubayr & Khaleed, currently working hard to become a knight without our holy Imperial Order of the Red Dragon. They have bled for this Empire, and in the wars, they have fought for their Emperor.

 

Let it be known: this Empire will always remain a, and as the Empire expands, the Imperium grows the Kingdom of our Lord GOD further. But as our Empire grows, we, as people, must accept growth also. 

 

This Empire was not created by the solitary hand of men only–it was aided by many. And for this, the non-human were permitted liberty within our realm. We will never promote another faith, it is a heinous sin, but those of the Al-Iman Rashidun will not have to live in fear of being slaughtered or punished for believing in Allah. 

 

You will be granted the rights to live in our realm, so long as you continue to serve this Empire. As our Empire stretches far and wide, so does the True Faith. 

 

Although you have been granted liberty and the right to live within the confines of your faith, the moment this parchment is abused, it will be revoked, and the Al-Iman Rashidun will be outlawed entirely.

 

I trust the Qalasheen will not do this. Understand this is a privilege, and privileges can be revoked. If any issues arise, please contact the Lord Justiciar for further investigation.

O Allah, pour light into the halls of the Imperial Family,
Guard their intentions and soften their judgments,
And let them be among those whom You use as instruments of peace in lands of trial.

Make this Empire a place where justice walks freely,
Where no soul is punished for seeking You,
And where the weak are not crushed beneath the pride of the strong.

 

Ya Rabb, should the winds ever change,
Then preserve us under the wings of Your mercy,
And turn not the hearts of rulers toward oppression,
But rather let them be like lamps—guiding and not burning,
Merciful, and not tyrannical.

Indeed, You are the Guardian of all kingdoms,
The Turner of hearts,
The Hearer of secrets behind every locked door.

Zubayr's face was wet with tears as he gave thanks to Allah the almighty, for such a honorable prince, as he and his brothers in arms, picked up their Shamshirs, Seyfs, Spears, bows, and Saqr Al-nahashes, and went out to go cut the tongues of those who would dare insult the Imperial family.
