Aevos was my first map! I joined right at the start during a really awful period of my life, like a lot of people, using LOTC as an escape from all of that. My dad's cancer and his passing away, probably led me to no life-ing the RP, and taking it far more seriously than I should have with a desperate need for control in a time when I had none; especially during the Kaethul and Hohkmat era.

 

I feel like I made a lot of enemies but fortunately also a lot of friends on the server so far. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, probably taking things IC into my OOC, which I regret a lot. So if you feel like I've wronged you, please say so I can apologise to you properly.

 

Primaquorem, for example, I didn't actually do anything to you directly. But I definitely didn't intervene when I saw ppl piling onto your char after that assassination attempt. And I just ran with it when ppl icly came up to me with reports about how Haus had assassinated Lanre. I don't know if I should have broken character and not put a bounty up on the char out of fairness. I kept being told that you were trying to manipulate things oocly, so I just dissociated from the situation and let them do whatever it was they wanted. So I'm definitely sorry about that whole situation as I'm sure it wasn't one that made you happy. I hope eventually it's something you can forget about. If you haven't already ofc.

 

I had two characters; 

Yera who was emotionally stunted and pretty manipulative; who did her best, however, to fight against evil but was constantly slandered until she became jaded and ultimately focused entirely on growing stronger until suffering ego death. Those that found her picked up the pieces of the character and slowly helped morph her into Ark today. An emotional naive battle mage who's need to feel more drives her to adrenaline fueled decisions.

 

Luciiael; Honest to the point of hurting himself with the truth, brought about by the trauma of his youth. Just a guy with a bit of magic muscle and a bit of delusion. Unwilling to hurt an innocent person or stand idly by as someone innocent were hurt, as long as intervening doesn't harm his family. He's just a loving father and husband, trying to reach for some manner of glorious purpose beyond his means.

 

Kaethul V4

Gasp. I'm going back to selling things on the new map, as my char and his family do their best to carve out a happy wholesome life for themselves. It won't be called Kaethul but I'm happy at least that Kaethul is something people remember as actually being a pretty successful merchant thing.

 

Heh. Run by the human family de Sylva; it'll sell things from Enchantments, to skins, to custom weapons and tool art commissions. And of course have a market accessible to all. We have a build pre built for the new map so we'll be open from the very start! I hope to see you there.

Aurus... But honestly Adrian is getting close. He's very active and is growing as a person.

 

Ark is never going to kill Larkin, unless Larkin starts going completely off the rails for some reason and becomes a danger to his children.
