Blessed Mali’Thill, cousins of ‘Ame and ‘Ker, and others who now call Siraminde home. It has barely been more than a year, yet already elCihi’Thilln stands as tall as in eras past, and shines bright with the glimmer of potential. The tavern bustles with discussion, the library is inhabited by those courageous enough to scratch the surface of our collection, the streets stir with excitement regarding an upcoming ball. The fall of Aevos is not far behind us, yet the grief of the past appears to dwindle already.

It is in these times that we look to the future. Upon our settling within this new realm, the Mali’Aheral have allowed many others to join us within our walls of Silver. There might be those of you who would expect me to be the utmost conservative elf: After all, the Haelun’or I have known the longest was one of isolation, exclusion and hesitance. Know however, that I am not one to hesitate. While I am forever certain elMali’Aheral remain the utmost ideal through our centuries of devotion to elMaehr’sae Hiylun’ehya, I do not doubt there are qualities to be found and contributions to be made by those who do not share our heritage and bloodline.

This is not to say, to those of non-Mali’Aheral blood, that every ‘Thill is expected to embrace you with open arms. The Laws of Purity still apply. Our culture shall stand strong, as it has done for so many realms, and through so many qualms. Take not for granted, this opportunity we grant you to work with us. For we remain the children of Silver: Pure of blood, pure of mind, and strict in our laws. This, I do not aim to alter. It is simply a new age, where cooperation can allow prosperity to bloom.

So fear not thy neighbour, citizens of Siraminde, but stand alongside them as you gaze toward the future. For as long as they follow elMaehr’sae Hiylun’ehya, they will have a place in Haelun’or.

Elijah reads the missive carefully, his eyes considering every word from the new Maheral. "elMaehr'sae Hylun'ehya, indeed..."  He smiled as he continued to roam the Eternal Library, eager for its shelves to finally be filled with books. This valah would continue his service of the written word, til the day he died.
