Since the early days of the Empire, with its early foundations as the Kingdom of Burgundy, it has brought people of different creeds, cultures and ideals together under one banner of unified man. From the multicultural traderoads the prior Barony stood on, to the great tournaments that took place on the bridge to Alba, the people of the empire were brought together in merriment.

 

Thus, to celebrate and embolden the united spirit of Man, it is the pleasure of the County of Silasia to organise the Grand Unity Games, with the aid of our most honoured peers. 

 

The Unity Games are a travelling series of contests hosted across the Imperial vassals, with each stop offering a distinct trial of skill and spirit. Each game shall reflect the heart of the land man has made its home upon, testing the strength and integrity of the people. Contestants will earn point placements at each stage, with standings tracked throughout the season. 

The finest among them shall earn entry into the Grand Cup, the finale held in the heart of the Empire, the capital of Rittersburg.

THE GRAND TOUR

 

THE OPENING TILT OF SILASIA

The opening game shall take place upon the sandy shores of Berzynsdat in the COUNTY OF SILASIA, with a time honoured  contest of honor and mastery – the Joust. May riders prove their prowess upon the sand flats where nothing but skill will prevail.

THE IRON CLASH OF BLACKVALE

In the lands where steel is wrought and courage tempered, the hosts of the PRINCIPALITY OF BLACKVALE invite all challengers to the contest of combat and cunning. Competitors shall face one another in a game of Spleef.

THE REINMAREN WARGAMES

In the hardy lands of the PRINCIPALITY OF REINMAR, competitors shall take part in the Reinmaren Wargames, a contest of martial skill. Participants will be split into two warbands, the Theoderikin and Gelimarssons. Fighters will face one another in a mock siege to then be followed by an unarmed bout.

THE ASCENT OF TARNAVON

Among the rugged highlands of TARNAVON, awaits the Ascent of the Hill. Competitors will participate in battles of endurance and cunning until one is left standing - the King of the Hill.

THE GALLANT RUN OF ALBA

Across the ARCHDUCHY OF ALBA, riders shall gather for a horse race that celebrates grace, bond, and the harmony between steed and rider. No contest better reflects the Alban spirit. Competitors will take to their mounts and compete to reach the end of the course.

THE IMPERIAL FESTIVAL

At last, the tour shall conclude beneath the dragons of the Empire of Man, in the CAPITAL OF RITTERSBURG. The competitors and all guests shall gather for the Festival of Virtue - a grand festival of sport, revelry, and reflection. It is here that the victors of the games are celebrated and the laurels of Virtue are bestowed. The festival is to stand as a symbol of unity, showing vassals bound not by conquest, but by camaraderie and shared endeavor.

THE SCORING & HONORS

Competitors will earn points based on placement in each event. At the close of the tour, the competitor with the greatest standing shall be named the Champion of Virtue and given the Laurel of Unity.

 

1st Place - 10 Points

2nd Place - 7 Points

3rd Place - 5 Points

Participation - 2 Points

 

Additional honors shall be granted for conduct and spirit throughout the Tour:

 

THE CROWN OF FELLOWSHIP - awarded for good sportsmanship and unity.

 

THE PEOPLE’S FAVOR - awarded by popular vote.

 

THE VIRTUOUS BANNER - awarded for exceptional representation of one’s vassal.

 

REGISTRATION

Competitors must be registered before the first event to be announced in the Opening Ceremony. Late registration will be available 15 minutes before the start of each event.
