Thain Goes EVIL!

~Hazel before she turned evil~

Our Thain, Hazel Applebrook, has gone EVIL??? She is trying to collect taxes, enforce shoe-wearing, and ban pipeweed smoking and drinking! It seems as though something has happened to our beloved Thain to turn her to greed and improperness! Time will tell if this continues or if she snaps out of it.

 

Barter Update

~Fun at the Barn!~

~Pumpkins have been hit hard by the new Pumpkin-Boring Beetle, raising the barter value of pumpkins from ten to fifteen bundles of wheat.

~Beetroots, carrots, and potatoes remain steady at a near one-to-one trading ratio with wheat, with potatoes inching upwards to closer to two wheat bundles per potato ever since new charcoal-cooking methods have been invented.

~Leather crashes to a new all-time low as mining outputs fail to provide the same outputs as came from the rich mineral deposits of Aevos. Leather no longer serves as the main resource demanded by the big-folks for big-folk uses.

 

International News

~Supper party~

~An improper city-halfling is elected as the pontiff of the Canonism religion. What this will mean for the future of halfling-human relations remains unknown.

~Haelun'or ceases to exist entirely, having been wiped out by imperials. Hordes of high-elf refugees flood into elf-accepting settlements, leading to new demands for elven housing. Some elves have even begun to enter Amberdell and request housing, such is the gravity of this elven refugee situation!
