A young Augusten stared at the missive with curiosity. What was all this about marriage and matrimony? At least she would get to see the pretty Lady Mayor in an even prettier dress... not that dresses were her concern. Surely not.

Henri seethed from his empty bed. "Everyone is getting married except I, what malfortune has been hexed upon me now?"

Theodora smiled excitedly as she read over the missive, looking over the shoulder of her best friend Roswyn. Seeing that her younger brother was to be wed, she clapped her hands together in excitement. "Oh, this is wonderful! First my own wedding, then my brother's the month after, and hopefully soon it shall be yours." She gave Roswyn a playful shove on the shoulder.

Anne Margery Alstion was quick to look over her handiwork, readying the tiltyard that hasn’t been much in use for quite a while. All she wished was to be happy for the Lady Mayor, although  the girl’s mind was troubled as of late. Nevertheless, she knocked upon the chamber doors of the Archduchess to give her first word of the letter “Jane, she’s ought to be married finally. Please find some time in your busy schedule to make time for this..

Unbeknownst to anyone else, Constantina had prayed to the good Lord GOD for Henri's misfortune every night since the day he gifted her a pumpkin carved with her image.

. . . But that very night, she only prayed for the good fortune and happiness of her younger sister's upcoming matrimony! She, like the rest of her siblings and parents, was aflutter in the Castle Highbury in preparation for the grandest ceremony Alba could surely ever see.

At the side of her dearest of friends, Theodora Helvets, she read over this missive with the most joyous of expressions. At the shove of a shoulder, she did look to the woman that read over her shoulder. "It is the season then, I do suppose! How wonderous it is to be alive at such a time of celebration, and how it does fill my heart with such splendor!" The missive soon found itself perched upon the redhead's lap as she began an excited ramble to the brunette. "-Might you think I could even have flowers styled within my hair at mine own?"

Eugénie Helvets excitedly crushed the missive between her hands, permanently creasing the paper where her fists would've closed. She had been eagerly awaiting the day her older brother would wed, and that day was now one sleep closer.

Helaine- the mother of the bride, prepared anxiously. Much was meant to be arranged for her youngest daughter and her soon-to-be son in-law. "Soon, all of our children shall be wedded off... and then it is just us, George."
