What is the Journey?
◥◤

The pilgrimage is not a mission, task nor something earned or given, it is inherited. You are born on it and you walk it so; Why do we call it a journey then? It is life- the will to live and the will to progress, that is the Um’Ei. Action must be taken to fuel this journey, the want for something more, desires of one's own has always been the forefront of the action of descendant kind as a whole, it should be reminded that there is a cycle that keeps the descendants at arms with each other,- this is in their blood but we should not resent it, it is these qualms that keep us sharpened as our blades, as cautious as our traps.

Does this mean war is inherited? Yes i think so, it’s not war itself but the RUIN it brings us towards that we should take note of and the results of war, what is done after wars are fought and souls are lost? Castles toppled and fields burnt? Progress! People move on from these qualms, with a more open mind due to the results, “Is this right?” - “I don’t think this helped.” people question themselves as they walk ‘pon the cakes of gore pressed between their souls and the sand beneath, their minds are opened once more, to realize what needs to be done to prevent mistakes made before, we learn and we build, we create. From the ash of RUIN rises ACTION and that action, whatever it is turns this WHEEL we call life for without action there can be no change.

Does this mean we need to strive for war? No i dont think so. War sought for the sake of  progression leads to tyranny. So if war should not be sought to progress won’t we become slower? No. War is not only the great battled fought ‘cross fields, No war is the challenges we face in life itself, a man may stub his toe against a table- the man moves the table to prevent pain for anyone else, he does not know who that ‘else’ is but it may very well be his enemy.. He does not think of this and commits an act of good inherently. If a man stubs his toe and goes to move the table and thinks on moving it but pauses at the chance it may save an elf- he does not, and the next day the mistake is made of stubbing his own toe.

The Journey is inherent to every descendant, every individual for we all walk the path of life, good or bad evil or just.

What do I want from my journey?
◥◤

It is simple.I’ve lived a great portion of my life angry, upset, spiteful of the ones who never found themselves on the path of progression, i did not realize this at the time, but now I do. I understand the RUIN i wished to bring was not of the natural cycle, not of Asioth. It is however needed for when the wheel turns ‘pon the time of war. However, I must not keep myself steady in only battle but wit, strength in mind is also achieved, to not only learn but teach but how can I learn myself if I wish not to bring the war I see?

Simple. Let not war mold me but the flames themselves, these flames i have walked through without feeling their warmth, the flames i have held without burning, the flames i could not hear lap ‘gainst the cold air that surrounded me. The flames of both love and hatred, the flames of both stagnance and progression, I must let them burn my flesh and peel it, revealing something new beneath- even embar that wicks is an image- insight into what I must learn. Into knowledge not yet seen. I must have my ideals threatened by these flames but reshaped also,

Allow myself to be torn, in place of something stronger, that is the purpose of my Journey, my Um’ei

Thus I decree, I claim this insignia as my own, my desire to be one and clash in twain, to unify but challenge in tow, Ruin and Creation as one, yet opposite.
