Darid Irongrinder sits in the tavern, thinking to himself how crazy it is to brag about a raid won via blatant rulebreak.

"seems it's time for war brother" says the de felsen warrior as he sharpens his blade

Elijah de Felsen looks to John de Felsen, "We have our work cut out for us." He said while he polished his hauberk on a little log he was sitting on in the de Felsen encampment.

Elis couldn’t believe she was left in the rear guard. Though this was fine, the sky lords watched as they ate Oyashi sushi, and steam dumplings. All was good in the world somehow.

though action will call her one day!

A filthy thing patrols the remains of Cerulia, gnawing at Orcish corpses.

Much like a carrion-bird, Krei’ildrith had taken to following the Imperial army on their outings;
Clearly a wise choice, it decided.

Latra wakes up at the military infirmary, her body bruised and battered, swollen and purple … and cuts oozing pus! The dung-tipped blades of the dwarves had caught her, bit at her, and she could only fight back until the woman saw them all from the ground; until she felt her own blood turn into a puddle around her. Nothing much could be remembered henceforth. But Latra? Latra knew she had given the raid her all! And that in the next she would redeem herself, come back with actual spoils of war beyond scrapes and cuts.

Sir Lothar smile's the suns smile. The ghost of the man he had already killed must've haunted the dwarves.

Hi so as someone who's been to one of these battles as status recording. It exists so we can spectate the fight without having to join PvP like if we join late or something but still want to watch. Saying "skill issue to not start popping recorders" just proves to me that the server has lost what status recording was supposed to be. Not to call you out in particular, it's just that you spoke up about it.

Maybe people ought to just use it right instead of killing all of us who want to spectate without being murdered.

I do agree with you, though there is often TOO many spectators. It is doubly as annoying when those same recorders are likely in VC's and reporting your locations, if I posted our 5v8(9?) in Krugistan the other day there might've actually been 10 people recording. They report your locations, block arrows, pick up loot, they even open gates now. It's just an unfortunate system ripe for abuse, its not fair to punish everyone for a few bad eggs, but I do think spectator status needs to be changed in some way.

A young guardsman looked upon the carnage of the battlefield shaking his head, even though he returned with an extra sword he could not shake the sour taste out of his mouth of the massacre he helped with even slightly.

Fully agree! I remember that fight in the protectorate and the status recordings made that just miserable. Still like the system, wish there were ways around it.
