Cathal found himself riding around aimlessly when he arrived at a local town. A missive would be posted upon the message board. He ripped the page from the wooden board that stood in the middle of the town and read it. He read the words on the page but felt as if he couldn't understand them. Genevive waited at their home for Cathal to return. She had herd the news, seen the missives. They were family friends- she had adopted herself as a Greye when she was a child- and so the death hit her hard. But not as hard as it did her beloved.

 

So she waited, perched on the doorstep of the clan house for the Greye-Ruiyin to come back. Her hands were empty, ready to be offered out to Cathal for an embrace. When ever that might be.
