*A brief missive was posted on various boards around Perduran*

Dear Citizens of Perduran,

I recently was assigned to become the governor of Perduran due to Duke Aedric's execution. Due to this happening, I wish for everyone to gather next saints day, to figure out our future as a people. I know the execution and change was sudden, but we must figure out what to do next. The coming years will be hard, but I will do my best as the governor to serve the people.

Thank you,

"This is... wow," Sybille exclaimed as she read the notice, commenting on the summons as it arrived at the Greye house during her search for one Adrian Greye @PoliteEquation7, "I would argue this is even stupider that the coup you all pulled," the comment was spoken generally, for the family to hear should they be in range, "I hope you all have a sensible moment, and decide to leave. This is no longer a place for you all." @xDisarray @Monty Cobra(and literally any other Greye) "And my condolences on your loss. Aedric was one of the better people. He did net deserve to die."

Aelyn sat, the wind flowing through his hair as he cleaned his wounds from the previous night.

Voidal flame soon conjured in his palm as he watched the fire dance.

"Killing your allies in a war... that's an interesting move? Aedric, I will avenge you in these next 100 years or the next."

said the Maehr as he threw the missive into the wind, continuing on his travels.

Maddock Tam read this and gave a great sigh. "Peter, you'd better have a good explanation for this, because this is going to cause problems." Part of him was frustrated, the other part of him was wondering if there was anything he could possibly do to fix the issues in Belethian politics before they could become too messy.

Like mother, like daughter. Alexandria was still trying to get herself together from the way she too vomited violently when

witnessing the execution.

Hunched figure read the missive "well. . . .EYE-GORE didnt expected this"

Scratched his hunch "BUT EYE-GORE expected something unexpected so it doesnt counts!" The idiot said to his pet rat.

The deposed Heiress to what was once Lotharia laughed maniacally. “Oh, oh! It finally happened!” Anastasia kicked her feet and giggled. “I should really write Grand Duke Joseph! I’m sure he’ll be thrilled to hear they’re already tearing themselves apart!” And so, the little Baroness skipped off to spread the good news to her buddy-in-arms, as well as her siblings and the rest of her friends.

Aurellius did not believe the news at first, his eyes scanned the missive in disbelief. It was all until his son, Aurus had confirmed it with him. The rage and anger he felt as he lost his son. It was not long ago he lost his daughter as well. He knew he had to do something to make sure his sons death was not in vain.

Nikitus was exploring the streets of the Empire before his mother had stopped him, explaining the death of his Uncle to him. His world went silent, his emotions left him and he felt numb. He promised himself that he would grow strong enough to protect his family, but at his age, and his size, he could not do anything in this case. He sought counsel, from a man he looked up to, in this time of strife. His mind was ready for revenge but what he was taught said otherwise.

Cathal found himself riding around aimlessly when he arrived at a local town. A missive would be posted upon the message board. He ripped the page from the wooden board that stood in the middle of the town and read it. He read the words on the page but felt as if he couldn't understand them. His Uncle, his friend, was dead, executed, betrayed by those he considered allies. The page would be crushed in his hands before he looked to the sky and closed his eyes in prayer, saying a silent promise to himself.

Iohannis I "The Witness" could not help but cackle. He did not remember the last time that pure amusement beset him. "Should have trusted when I said they were snakes. God's Humor is perfect."

"Everyone is an Archchancellor or Grand Duke these days. Where is the humility?" an old, wrinkled Novellen commented in passing - rolling her eyes, before she carried on down the street.

Ser Aviel, ‘The Flamehound’ and ‘The Just’, read over the missive in his office, the oathbound blade used for the execution resting within its sheathe laid not too far from him against another chair.

“The peace of the realm is troubled wit’ ‘r wit’out Brother Aedric, his fam’ly thought ‘emselves entitled t’ not jus’ two duchies, but a pointless, empty throne that was dissolved along wit’ the Eastern Throne for the true Belethian Throne t’ rise.” The Knight mused to himself before rising from his desk and laying his darkened steel helm atop his head.

“Ave, Belethia.”

The Duchess of Perduran, Cesia, would soon get the missive from a sorrowful-looking servant before going back into her and Aedric’s room. Upon Cesia finally reading all the missive she fell to her knees and cried loudly her aquatic and starlit aura surrounding her before it became unstable and flashing colors, for how she felt in this heartbreaking moment, before letting out a bardic-infused wail of sadness that could be heard throughout the palace before it fainted moments later as she stood up… she did not expect to wear her mourning clothes this soon but she knew who she had to talk to in this moment…
