How many tech-team members have to leave before keeping Daisy is not worth it?

I do not believe much needs to be said.

This is the tech team admin. She is a grown adult, who gets paid [ostensibly] nothing, who refuses to give up power and threatening to sue for... God knows what.

This is the same as Josh. There is no new leaf. There is only old dirt.

EDIT 1/31/2026: I think I was a little too harsh on Daisy in this and former things. A friend of mine, Harfleur, let me know how much Daisy had done to get his unjust ban reversed. I still don't know if she's the best person to lead the entirety of Technical team, but I don't think she's as malicious as I've been led to believe. I apologize.

Perhaps they shouldn't step down as an admin, but I do think they should improve in terms of transparency. I think @Adelemphiishould stop working on improving the server until things change. Hey, maybe she can be tech admin instead. That's an idea. She's probably much more involved in fixing the server than Llir is.

This is untrue. Its a perception thing. I've literally made a career identifying silos and removing 'irreplaceable ' stubborn fixtures from companies. Will there be bumps? Sure. but 'Only they have the keys!' is a hostage situation, and should be corrected in any environment. AND more importantly, IS achievable in every environment.

I honestly don't know where this "Daisy does nothing" and "Daisy is a wall that does nothing but say no" comes from tbh. She's fairly active in discord, has responded to dms in my experience more regularly recently, and to PRs in discord. She said in one of our first moments as Senior Tech that we have mostly free reign about deciding what we do to better the server.

Then where are all these tech team members coming from? I love ya Adele but something has to be going on, right? There’s only so much a community can gleam from the vagueposting made by members who quit.

no one asked me but i mean it shouldnt take several days for someone whose ban appeal was accepted to actually be unbanned
