Hi, so I co-wrote veilwatching, and I actually love a lot of the updated concepts you have here. While I think a few of them might lack lore justification, I do love the direction you're taking this in. I'd love to help out if you intend on tweaking things :)

In short, this rewrite fails to achieve what it sets out to accomplish- fundamentally, almost nothing of this rewrite is related to the Veil in the slightest, rather merely drifting even further away from the identity of ‘Veilwatching’ and rather just is a slapped-together pack of noncombative abilities that lack a general theme to it and seems to have no real identity of its own beyond “scholars of the veil and not guardians!"- which, like aforementioned, lacks much cohesion to the Veil whatsoever and sadly does nothing but contribute to bloat. A rewrite of Veilwatching should adhere to the core principles it is centric around- the Veil and its mantainance/protection- rather than trying to bizzarely and rapidly draft away to instead be a hapahazard combination of thematicless abilities.
