Eloir remembered the day he started training, looking over at his younger brother with a hopeful expression in his eyes. It was a hard time for them both after learning of their mother's passing, but at least they had each other.  The memory was so vivid to the young Fenn as he sat meditating in his cabin, his own personal grave.

"What happened to my parents?" He asked Emaelia as they sat by a warm fire after Eloir's trial

"...I don't know, young one." She answered. Eloir didn't push the topic further; he knew better than to upset the Archon.

The Once-Archon of Drakon had lost his faith several times over the years, so much so that he didn't wish to face his kin and took to a cowardly way and ran so far that he couldn't recognize the roads he had travelled

"I'm handing back the title, I'm sorry. I'm not like you, Emaelia."

He said solemnly as he ripped off the cloak that had once been given to him and unsheathed the Thanic Glaive that was once his before he ran off into the wilderness, he wished to be alone more than anything else. Eloir raised his two children the best he could, teaching them to hunt, fight, but most importantly of all... Survive. Offering the parental guidance he once wished so desperately for. Although he knew that his time drew near, he tried to enjoy it while he could, as sickness spread through his veins. There were so many things he wished to do still, but he would leave that to his children to enjoy.

The Alchemist walked through the woodlands, quartz white snow covering all that his eyes could see, as a pain shot through his entire body like the fire he used to forge with. He was hunting, one last time, as he knew his time drew near. He stopped to kneel as he caught sight of some large tracks heading further to the Northern part of the forest. They were fresh as the metallic scent of blood coated the air. Eloir picked up the pace as he coughed his way down the hillside, eventually coming face to face with a large creature, devouring a deer. It turned to look at him with a killing intent in its eyes, roaring as it spotted new prey. The Drakon readied his spear as he wished for one last challenge. A few hours later, blood coated the once white snow as the Fenn dragged himself away from the fight, not even caring to take the pelt. He pinned his spear's shaft into the ground as he tied his once-beloved jacket onto it with some rope. It had outgrown him for quite some time now, but it was the last thing his father had gifted to him before he disappeared. Eloir finally stopped on top of a nearby rock as he fell into a deep slumber. He would not let sickness take him, but he would let his injuries take him as he fell into a deep slumber, one he would never wake from again.

Letters were scattered across Azuras to family, friends, or anyone Eloir deemed important to write to

To Emaelia Drakon @Wyrvun

Spoiler

Wyrvun il’aylu, Emaelia. It's been quite a while since we last spoke, but I'd like to thank and apologize to you for... everything? Thank you for raising me to be the best warrior that you could and getting me into places I never thought possible. I apologize for being such an absent part of the Bloodline. These last few years haven't been kind to me, and I just needed to get away. - Eloir Drakon

To my children, Rina and Calthor Drakon.

Spoiler

Hello there, you two. I hope that you've been well. Look, I want you two to look out for each other, no matter what happens, alright? Have each other's backs in hunts, battles, and remember what I taught you because you have nobody else except your family.

To Yelizaveta.

Spoiler

Wyrvun' Il'aylu, Veta. If this letter is reaching you, it means I've finally kicked the bucket, as I've heard some humans say. Thank you for teaching me medicine, even if I didn't get to say it in this life. And no, I'm still not taking your tests. - Eloir 'Always taller than you,' Drakon.

To Njall.

Spoiler

Hey kid, it's been a while. I hope everything's going well for you back in Norland or whatever they call it now. I know that I said that I'd be around more often, but life caught up to me, it seems. Stay strong and make sure Veta gets some proper rest every once in a while.

To Isilmelire.

Spoiler

Isil, you taught me all that I know now about Alchemy and, most importantly, taught me to not be so emotional about the passing of others. As you said our race is one of loss. I'll have to ask you to do the same, do not mourn for me. I've caused enough pain in this lifetime. - Eloir Drakon

To Vanessa.

Spoiler

Hello, Mother. I knew I said that I wouldn't run away again, but I have a habit of breaking my promises. I hope you and your family are well. You all deserve it (Except Siegfried, but don't tell him I said that.) My advice is based on what you told me after your wedding. I'd leave him. - Eloir Drakon

Njáll's brow dipped as he held that letter carefully in his hands, a thumb rubbing across one word. "... he did remember my name," the man remarked with a quiet remorse.

Spoiler

you forgot the accent mark :/

But on a serious note, for the times that he was around, Eloir was a very fun and enjoyable character. I had a great time getting to know him! o7
