I love this idea and need it now.

 

Also you mentioned that you could call the broomstick and at another point you mentioned that to use it you need both the broom and a horse in a whistle to use. So is this a way to call a mount mid combat or do you still need to have it out to begin with?

 

Either way it's still good and should either mention that you can't or make it take like 2-3 emotes as the broom flys over

Basically, the horse whistle with a horse is still required to use it in combat, which should be the standard with mounts, so you can't give yourself an item you can soulbind and never lose and keep horse speed. It is mostly a balance thing. I am not sure the specifics of remounting a horse in combat, but it would defer to whatever moderation standard is, which I would assume as a base requires the mount to be emoted, and requires an emote to mount once again, counting as your action.

I don't remember the exact wording of the rules but from past experiences you are not allowed to use a horse from a whistle unless it is out before the combat starts, and I'm pretty sure the same goes for magic stuff.

Suggestion: change the exhaustive list to non-exhaustive maybe. So we can go a lil more free form with our Flying Household Tools. There's a lot of old fairytales of witches flying around on very random objects, butter churns come up surprisingly often, so i think a tiny bit more freedom with the base object fits the witchy vibe well.

 

 

 

Huge props to letting these get made with housemagery though. healing the wound left by void mage only wizard hats.

Would it be possible for Bardmancers to also create these? As there is a section about them being able to appear as a musical instrument, and bardmancers pull upon the same power as a housemage does...
