Dear Comrades,
Our forces have recently struck a blow to the foe. This is a minor victory to be sure but one of many in our new campaign and the proximity to the Burgundian capital calls for praise! In the shadow of the red tower of tyranny did we score true, and now it shall be recounted in brief!

Storied was the posse that set out to beset the lands of our enemies, already they had scoured multiple foes that day and took from them; armaments, minas, supplies and the like. Though weary from the conquests of the day, a new opportunity presented itself in the camp of the Sedenians, lightly guarded as it were. Months prior, contact had been made to Sedenian folk, where they made it clear they were no friend of the republic, nor of the proletariat held captive by the Imperial yoke.

The camp of the Sedenians was scouted and their garrison observed, though lightly guarded they still numbered greater than the forces of the republic that day! The battle began, slow at first with both sides testing one another. As attrition grew on, the Ranger made his play, and in a daring gamble the rooftops were assailed and the Sedenians split, picked off one by one until none remained. Supplies was taken from the camp and fallen foes, now put to better use in the republic's war of liberation!

Let this be a warning to all the dogged vassals Burgundy! Should you not turn against your masters and should you not endeavor to uplift your common-born… you will be dealt with accordingly! In time the republic will be restored, our people now scattered beneath the Burgundian yoke will be liberated! All those bourgeois, robber-barons, collaborators and the like will not live to see it!

Lastly let it be known, should the occupation of our land continue, you will never know peace! For no stronghold of your making is safe from our mark!

Death to the Burgundian Invader!
Death to the Idunian Invader!
Salvo will never surrender!

Signed,

Commandant “John Oren”, of the Salvian Ranger Corps

Eddard had the soldiers that the Salvians had murdered while he was away buried, his teeth gritting as each grave was dug. The death of any Sedanian brought a great pain to his mind, for it was his mission to see their people restored. He vowed vengeance and quickly set his Exchequer, Karol Jazlowiecki, to the task of replenishing their mild logistical losses. "Next time, I'll have this Salvian's head."

"I am starting to think these guys are from Salvo, too," mused a young imperial.

Lady of Sedan observed from afar what all is coming down. Not impressed by the reputation they are gaining.

Turning over to her husband she'd see him with their new born child and smile.

"They expect me to believe that they'll make our people safe when they cannot even get rid of a bandit? Much less one that has been a nuisance to the empire." Ysmeine mumbled to herself. Kneeling down to gently kiss her husband's head before moving to a window.

"How truly upsetting can this situation be." Leaning against the railing. Unsure weither they are fit or not once again, not wanting more soldiers or their people suffer.

Lady Annika Kingsley mused at the usage of Sedan. "I wonder if my dear brother wherever he may be finds some humor in more claiming his lineage."
