IC Name: Percival Brandybuck Irongut

What position do you want to be?: Merchant Guild Leader

Tell us a little bit about yourself?: Ever since I was a wee lad in Al'Khazar, I was always passionate about m'coin, and coin always came my way. I've worked many jobs, the latest of which being the head Tavernkeep of the Maiden Head in Kal'Urguan, which I'm sure ya drank at some time or another. I've recently sold it.

How long have you been on this server?: Since August.

Would you be active as a leader of your guild?: Of course! I'm awake a good portion o' the Fortday, so you'll see me around quite a bit! ((I play a good bit every day))

What would you do as a leader to grow the economy of Kal'Urguan?: I'd make sure that the fine wares of our nation get sold and that all of our pockets are filled to th'brim with coin. I'd make sure we have both good supplies to sell and people to sell 'em, makin' new jobs and such. O'course, I'd expect some shares for meself, but that's another issue.

More specifically, I'm thinking we could:

Open ore shops and smithies in all th'foriegn cities

Make a central point fer trading within our own city

Give travelers a reason to come shop in Kal'Urguan

Open up more unique job opportunities, hopefully (brewing, engineers, etc)

Collaborate with th'other guilds to make lots of coin

I'm focused on creatin' a wealthy nation, as ya can see, and I assure you that I won't let you down!

How would you as a guild leader bring better Rp for the dwarves and citicens of Kal'Urguan: As I mentioned before, some more unique jobs like engineering supplies/services, real breweries, and other jobs very reliant on RP would be added. I think citizens would also enjoy a true bazaar where one can always find peddlers and merchants. A central marketplace would provide a meeting place, a profit maker, and an attraction for foreigners.

Have you had any experience being a leader?(If you do please tell what you led.): I have led some small businesses, the most famous being the ever popular Maiden Head Tavern. I've got that leadership quality, most say, and no doubt I could whip our merchants into a minas-making machine!

((Loved your appliacation. I'm going to wait for a couple of hours for other people to post there apps.))

Intresting,

I'd like to meet you in game to get to know you a little better.

A few questions:

How much minas do you currently have?

How did ye got that minas( in what way of minas-making )?

Do you have valuable stuff or ores and what way did ye got those( i just need a few examples )?

You probably have my vote

It's not entitled a place on the Lower Council as an official guild of Kal'Urguan unless they donate some of their profit to the Kingdom. If people don't like that, they don't have to be involved in the kingdom at all.

Well your making the guild for the sole purpose of supplying Kal'Urguan with minas. That's not a guild, and it could be confusing for people who actually have guilds.

Your having a guild create jobs, which doesn't make sense at all.

What position do you want to be?: Head Miner

Tell us a little bit about yourself?: I have been an architect, a miners, a priest, a diplomat, and soon te be a priest again. My time in Aegis has been full of interesting events and battles. I am a combat veteran, and fought at the battle of Wrath's Clutch.

How long have you been on this server?: I have been playing on the server for around 4 months.

Would you be active as a leader of your guild?: Yes, I am already fairly active on the server. I plan te be

What would you do as a leader to grow the economy of Kal'Urguan?: Provide guaranteed payment to guild members based off of the amount of Ores they gather, therefore providing jobs for the populace. Sell gathered ores in a shop, possibly in Oren.

Have you had any experience being a leader?(If you do please tell what you led.):A small group of soldiers, second in command to Archbishop Hogarth, and other small positions.

How would you as a guild leader bring better Rp for the dwarves and citizens of Kal'Urguan: As the head miner, I would walk around the city inviting others te mine, possibly hold mining events (I have a few in mind that will prevent cheating), teach new players about the mining system in OOC and in Rp, and walk around preaching my general rambling religious nonsense as I intend to be a priest of the forge once more..

Darius ye are thee new Head Miner now.

Please seek me in-game and we will discuss thee miner guild.

Why doesn't that make sense?

The truth is that the only jobs we really had was the Legion and Guard which didn't fit with what everyone wanted.

Also, congratulations to Percival and Darius, I will add you to the Lower Council!

Because guilds, at least in this server since they already are established, do not solely support a kingdom and are required to do things for them. You should change the name to something else so that it fits its purpose.
