The Verge and The Elves

*You look up at the sky, seeing thousands of birds carrying messages amongst each other*

Hail Denizens of Aegis.

It is time that we begin to plan out our actions, for what we might do could build up our great nation or possibly break it down.

Upon the block to "The Verge" portal being lifted, Prince Mylas, Princess Lirinya, Nero, and I have encountered this new land with quite haste.

We soon found a spot we very much liked, along an island in the Ocean. Followed by a large deal of Elves, we have started constructing our new community.

After a day, we had already put up farms, and made ourselves at home amongst the trees; as well as meet our neighbors, the "charming" FoA.

We were soon greeted by the arrival of Princess Indelwehn and High Prince Native. Since we have a very large amount of our population in our new colony, we have gone all out in preparing for our future, to better ourselves.

It is with great regret that I must inform you all that we lost colonists after going to far out in unexplored territory, being caught up in a "skirmish" in one of the non-elf towns. Please, my friends! I beg you to be careful. We know not of what this new land holds, nor do we now what we will find.

Needless to say, it is so very fun to be this close once again as part of our Nation. I feel so much joy looking out the windows, once again seeing others interacting and bartering to get a nice stew!

Our mining team has also become quite advanced as well, bringing us back ample resources from the deep Earth.

Mylas, Nero and I have been more or less keeping everyone motivated, as Lirinya is pampering the land with care.

Everything is going fantastically.

For those who have not come to join us:

The journey to the new colony is not an easy one! Be warned. Take valuables and items you think you'll need, especially food. There is a risk of overpopulating the entire land, but we are not even close to doing so as of now. Bring your family and your possessions.

I shall instruct you on how to get to our colony.

1- Upon entering the portal, you shall come-to on a staircase. Head all the way down, and continue straight. It is extremely dark, so be careful!

2- After heading straight for awhile, it should begin to light up very quickly. There should be a bridge. Cross the bridge, but be careful not to fall into the webs or through holes.. it seems as if the only creatures that have occupied this territory in 1,000 years are the monsters.

3- Head straight on the bridge and you should reach an old temple. Enter the temple and there should immediately be a foyer with a flight of stairs heading up.

4- Climb the stairs. Do this with caution, because I would not have been writing this if Lirinya didn't grab my wrist before I slipped off. There are MANY hidden holes along this flight of stairs.

5- At the top, there should be an opening, with grass and trees. Look around for a small dock, as well as a lake. This is the key part. This part of the journey was blurred, and I have difficulty remembering it to the point.

6- Once you reach the docks, swim or place a boat directly at the docks. Head straight, if not a little to the port side. Eventually you should come to the Island. It is fairly large, but easy to navigate around.

If I wasn't so clear, and you feel angered by my bland directions, feel free to tell me when you reach us! *chuckles*

I think the passage should be cleared, we elves are more powerful together thand those creatures! These stairs should be repaired, I lost all of my stuff on the way up when I nearly fell into that dark pit! ((I fell down and was attacked by monsters, there was no way of getting my stuff back!))

Edit: when I came up there, I saw a mountain, I decieded to explore it. I saw a strange structure at the side of it, it was a bit crumbled, I wonder what it is. Maybe we could send an explorationteam to it, I think the FoA would like to help us, maybe orcs, dwarfs and humans too!

I'm not sure if it is the same one, but in the side of a mountain on land attached to the central island I saw a room filled with bookcases, not like the library underground, now that was truly something, with a pillar of lava in the middle. That warrants some exploring, if I could just break through the iron bars.

This new land is a great place to explore. I've seen many ruins so far. It is quite a mysterious place.

Brothers and sisters, the man whom sends this message is right. I have settled in the land and had met Sythra, Deltaro and Haelphon. All very kind people. The land is abundant in ores, hah! Gold and Iron veins stand still across the underground ravine! I must be a rich man!

I was hoping we could have a library set up in the protected region to collect books and journals written about The Verge. If you can put aside a space I can provide the bookshelves.
