Recently I ran into what I thought was an average character until I saw this...

... Now you see my lovely friend here has had an interesting lifestyle. "Parents were killed by orcs. Dwarves kept me as a slave" to be exact. Now as interesting as this is to here (for the 500th time it feels like) I can't help but grow tired of these cliches. Now as you can see the second he mentioned this I instantly wanted to stop RPing with him. I tried to say "good luck then" and get the hell out of there for a couple of reasons. One his character was cliched and uninteresting and two what I was witnessing was horrible RP. What kind or person says "I'm new to this place" and then right after "My parents were killed by orcs" out of the blue to a complete stranger? So I tell you all new applicants think of your character before creating it. Come up with something new and fresh. Make them with a touch of realism...
