I am a new player and would like some advice

I recently was accepted to the server and my character name is: Bazur. I am a soldier to Kal'Urguan and I dont know much of what I'm supposed to do or where to go. I have read many of the tutorials, and been on the Wiki and things are still sort of complicated for me. My general problem is where to get started. I know good ways to start making money are mining, and fighting mobs, but I don't have a pickaxe to mine or enough minas for a permit, and I don't have enough food or good enough weapons to fight. The weapons and armor I have are iron and degrade easily and are hard for me to maintain. With all the struggles and my general lack of knwoledge of this server (due to all this being new to me) makes other unwillfull to help or too irratated to. I would really appriciate someone to help lead me on the path to success on this server because I find it fun to play, but constantly find myself in a rut.

Start with mob hunting. It will get you food and money at the same time. Spiders drop raw pork a lot. Don't go for pigmen if you can't stand to lose your things because often there is one you didn't see. I suggest going for zombies and spiders. Stay out of the Verge until you can hold your own. Also, make friends. Talk to people. You never know when someone will help you out.

Aye, pigmen often travel in groups of three or more. I would also avoid spiders unless you have a good connection and fight them in the daytime.

I wouldn't buy iron armour as of yet, or iron tools; bar a sword. Stone pickaxes will help just as much.

Create a base in the Wilds and store your most valuable items; have a furnace, bed etc. Then in the morning take minimal items out and fight zombies and skeletons as they burn; but beware, skeletons are very good shots and it is better to go for spiders in water as they cannot jump.

((I wouldn't get a base in the wilds. Unless you are VIP you won't have protection and people in the Wilds often steal, villain app or not. I would get 300 mina and buy a home in the commoner housing where you can store items safely.))

My best advice is too scan the forums for people posting for work/recruitment your suited for and move on from there.

Most people are very hospitable if you need a place to stay and store your things if you take the time to learn their story.

Honestly the best thing you can do as a new player is to kill mobs. While working as a guard may be more fun, I guarantee you will make more money killing mobs in an hour than you will guarding for a week. As an added bonus, as you kill mobs, you can be training in either wrestling, axe mastery, or swordsmanahip. Once you have enough Mina, I suggest that you buy some decent armor and a weapon. Once your combat skill is high enough, I suggested joining a merecenary group, because they usually pay better than joining an army. I hope my advice helps you get your start in Aegis, good luck!
