The Battle for Kal'Urugan

Aye, on behalf of Kal'Urguan, I thank Oren for their support. With your 'elp, we were able to outnumber and drive back the remaining Orcs and Elves who stood at our walls.

Now, I also 'ave 'eard rumours that Dwarves were to blame for this battle! Well I say that those are lies and propaganda spread by the Orcs ter make us look bad. As I was passin' by Krugmar, I saw a dispute between a number of Kal'Urguan Dwarves and Orcs, both sides were insultin' each other. The Orcs claimed that the Dwarves were on their land when they were in fact on a public road. I even 'eard a number of Orcs, speakin' of a tax on us... Anyway, as the dispute continued, an Orc began firin' arrows from the wall, forcin' us Dwarves ter fight back. Both Orcs and Dwarves were slain in this short conflict so I decided ter lead the Dwarves back ter Kal'Urguan ter prevent further hostilities.

Then, after thinkin' everythin' was over, a hawk landed next ter me with a note, tellin' me that Orcs were 'eadin' ter burn down a Dwarven village and that they'd be gatherin' in Aerial. I marched the Dwarves over ter Aerial, only ter find a number of Orcs and Aerial townsfolk in a meetin'. Most immediately ran so we chased after 'em, capturin' one of the Krugmar Orcs and escortin' 'im back ter Kal'Urguan fer interrogation.

While I was watchin' over the interrogation of the Orc at Kal'Urguan, I was sent word that Mogroka was standin' at the main gate ter the city. A number of our informants also told us that a large number of Orcs 'ad 'eaded in the direction of Kal'Urguan. As I was about ter open the gate ter the Warlord, the Orcs showed up and started ter fire arrows at the Dwarves along the walls. Of course, we were then forced ter fire back, leadin' Mogroka ter order them ter begin the attack.

Ter me, all of this sounds like back stabbin'! Mogroka claimed ter be at Kal'Urguan fer peace talks when in fact 'e 'ad an entire army stationed in Kal'Rog, made up of both Elves and Orcs. It is therefore no surprise that we called upon the 'umans fer support.

You don't bring armies to peace talks. Also, why would the dwarfs be on the defensive if they started it?

Lemme say sumtin' ere'. Da original purpose of us bein' dere' wuz ta be dere' ta back up de Warlord if sumtin' wen't wrong. Da only reason dat da army started shootin' wuz because of sum confusin'. Da Warlord wanted Gaius or da Highborn, (me can nub rememba which wun) ta come n' elp' wif de talks. Bud when dey went forward ta talk, da army got confused n' thought dat de attack started. Da war started anyhow, heh, wuz a skahin' fun war. Bud dat jus lil' bid o' explanashun.
