*A hooded man, wearing a white robe, stands in front of the notice board in Al'khazar. Reading the note, he slowly mumbles a few words, then leaves.*

Having recently returned from Aeriels Keep, free of the taint that had been literally killing him, he notices something new on the boards. He walks forward towards it, still so many view points swirling in his mind, who to side with, who to walk with. For years he had been wrong about what he thought a friend he had betrayed thought of him, she still loved him like family which shocked him more so. Slowly walking forward he reads the note, his mind still in many places. Nodding his head, he agrees strongly with what it says, though will he do a thing to help?

He's been aware of these truths for years, yet always kept it hidden, he helped almost no one, but some on rare occasions. He had saved lives at a cost to himself, but did not tell those he helped of his own pain which Shoi now took on. He felt it was still wrong of him to have allowed Shoi to take on his pain, but he knew now she would have suffered more if he died. He reaches into his pocket with his left hand, clenching the red stone bound to a silver chain in his pocket thinking of her, silently staring at the note having finished it.

He thought of the way he helped Cataris tear apart the Whispering Order and how many others he killed, he felt guilt, it was all wrong what he did then. Would they even forgive him? It would be a pathetic excuse of an apology to say it was the taint when he willingly went to the nether alongside an undead. His actions were his own though, he would try to make amends for all of them. But to just betray all his current friends? He would try his best to keep them even if they viewed things differently now.

What path was he to take now? He decided he would do what he could to help this world as it falls to pieces while remaining in the dark, Shoi's words ringing in his head; "Just because something is dark doesn't mean it has to be evil." He thought of this once more and lifted his hand, palm up making sure no one was around first. Seeing he was alone he allowed the shadowy aura to engulf his hand. He had helped people with this darkness already. So then as she said, he would go forth and from his darkness, he would try his best to get others closer to the light. Though he knew he could never fully step into that light, he now felt it was his duty to remain in this darkness, to from these shadows, keep others in the light.

*inspects the note delivered to his office*

The Ascended seemed to have organised themselves without the Sages. I do hope the sages do not return and mess up all the hard work the Ascended have performed in the sages' absence.

*files the note away in his desk*

This is the truth, I have known for many years now that the only way to destroy these foul undead is to unite under one banner. The undead destroyed alkhazar, but this is just the beginning, they will keep destroying city's all nations will fall.

The only way to stop this is to unite under one banner, together as we one!

I say we fight together and either win or be defeated.

I for one will always fight for Aeriel and Aegis,in this life or another!!
