To be honest, I personally would prefer if only application team members posted on the applications at all, even if you are sure the app will get rejected.

When I (or another team member) reject an app, generally we leave information detailing exactly what they did wrong, how they can get in contact with us and that they shouldn't repost within 48 hours. When you post on an app that would otherwise be rejected, we end up skipping over that app. If the person reposts, they may be short a lot of information needed to understand what they did wrong, they may repost too early and immediately be denied, or maybe never fully understands whether or not they were actually accepted.

I can think of one app in particular where the applicant ignored the format. Obviously grounds for instant denial. Someone posted on this app and informed him it would probably be denied. Luckily he contacted me and asked if this was an official denial or not and I set him straight. He redid his app, it was one of the best I have ever seen, and I accepted him. That being said, if he had never thought to contact me, I do not doubt his app would have been skipped over and our server would have been short a great RPer.

So please, if you are not on the application team, do not post on applications at all. If you have a helpful comment or suggestion, send it to them via PM, or if you want to +1 their post, use the button at the bottom of their app, not a post. Thank you.

This is only for server applications. Villain applications actually require people to comment on them for them to be accepted however you should only comment on someones villain app if you have actually RPed with them.

I think it is the same with FM and GM apps as well but don't know for sure so Don't quote me on this last part.

Yes, that was what I was assuming about villain apps. And my apology mainly referred to GM/FM apps.
