The skull of a clan long forgotten keeps vigilance, a brand which signifies it's bearer to be a proud member of the long forgotten clan. Obliterated by the Undead, avenged by two brothers, and lost in history, this clan was dead. Now though, it has been revived, a shadow of its former self. The name it carried long ago has been left to rest with the warriors who fought under it. (what Im talking about is Peon and Gruntee.) Considering that Shadowclan is an organization completely independent from Krugmar, I think we can pretty much do whatever we want. So...yeah.)) While we use ranks, we also consider each other to be family. Not exactly in line with "Im your dad, this is your mom, you are my grandchild, this is your cousin, I am your nephew" ect. but more in the line of "We are all brothers and sisters here". Whether it's the WoW branch, the Warhammer branch, Ultima, what have you, the is thicker than even thieves as the expression goes. Ranks within the clan server both to organize a rank and structure to the clan for military purposes, and they serve to give veteran status to those who are the most dedicated to their brothers. Keep in mind Mogroka, that as far as merging to the Lore goes, we did on many levels. However, you must also remember that we are bringing in people from outside the clan into the clan. People who specifically were not part of the Shattered Clan of the Distant Desert. These people have no way RPwise to be blood related to the members of the Original Clan. Thus, the adjustment to an all inclusive brotherhood allows us to have a close knit family. Having a Gruntee Rank saves grace to mark you as an official member, as opposed to the Peon rank which is someone who is yet to say the oath, and therefor not yet a full fledged member. However, I had the benefit of knowing that there was going to be bastardization in Sith Blah, no one explained that to me about normal Blah...))
