We have a short supply of men and this makes us very vulnerable and appear weak, which ye' all know does not fit the description of the dwarves! Speacial Ranks

A Dwarven Ranger is a lightly armored scouting unit that would scout ahead of the army for enemy positions, cause mayhem within enemy ranks with sabatage or intimidation or be an early warning system against enemy advances/plans.

The Mithril Elite are the most powerful and most talented warriors in the Dwarven Kingdom. They are the King's, Military Highlord's, and the Grand Councilman's personnal Guard. They are incredibly armed with the dwarves strongest armor and weapons forged on the Grand Anvil of Kal'Urguan. They never give ground, take prisoners, or accept defeat, they fight till the end and are incredibly obeidient to the orders they receieve. Select few bear this name.

Responsibilities of legion Members

A legion member is expected to be ready within minutes of a call. To be ready to go into battle with all they have. Not afraid to charge into questionable odds and willing to die for their home. They will be given the greatest of respect by the citizens of Kal' Urguan. Warriors will be given any scrap armor and weapons around however, Ironbreakers and above will be given a set of new iron armor and the best weapon they are able to weild. They are expected to have this with them AT ALL TIMES inside the city. They must be obeidient to only their King and Grand Counselor of war, and be ready to give their lives at a moments notice for their Kingdom.

Axeman

Many Civilians wish to fight for Kal'Urguan but don't necesarilly want to be a member of the army or be on duty everyday. This is the rank for you. Axemen are militia members of any and all who wish to fight for a cause. They don't have to change anything in their lives and don't need to be as readily available for service as others in the army do. They would only be called to arms if needed and would be given a considerable ammount of time to get prepared for battle. Generally used to bolster forces on the front or repel attacks close to home. ** MUST SUPPLY OWN EQUIPMENT **

Pay

Mithril elite

Will gain a set of Diamond armor, and a golden sword as payment.

Long beards

will be armed with a set of iron armour, and a gold helmet if able te be provided. They will also gain a golden sword or less.

They will also gain a bonus when recruiting of 300-400 minas.

Iron breakers

will be paid a small sum for each member they recruit into their squadron. 100-200 minas

they will be armed by the kingdom in a set of Iron armour, and a diamond sword or less.

Warriors

Will be paid with scrap armours, and Iron weapons or lower.

They will not be paid for with minas.

Axemen

Will not be paid at all.

Squadrons

A new system added to the dwarvern military. This system will create 5 man groups called squadrons, each group will consists of 4 warriors, and 1 Ironbreak, this group will be commanded by a longbeard whom will command two squadrons.

For example

Mili is creating a squad along with artemus. Both get 5 men total, these squads will go under the command of a longbeard like Dili. In total a entire army of 11 men is formed.

We are growing very rapidly, with such an immense rise in the number of soldiers I must ask, it is not required however it is greatly advised you get TeamSpeak. It makes it INCREDIBLY easier to contact people and organise. ALL the council members and most citizens use it. It is FREE to download, just Google Teamspeak and go to teamspeak.com. In the bottom right hand corner there is a "downloads" section, simply click on "teamspeak 3". Once you have it downloaded click "connections" then "connect" and enter "TS.lordofthecraft.net" in the address and BAM your in. Nothing more, find the Kal Urguan channel and join on in!
