Aerinyes 402 Author Share Posted December 17, 2011 A wise elf does not allow one orc to dictate what they can say or do within the Princedom. When one allows it, more orcs try and soon we have a mess that has Malinor subjugate to Krugmar. I will not allow that to happen. We will remain a free people, ones that can speak as they wish and do as they wish without fear of subjugation. In the past your kind has abused the pact. Attacking others and then screaming at Malinor to aid you in such offensives. You only seek the pact to use our militaries for you own personal goals. And then when one elf stands up and reveals it for what it is, you seek to silence them in some 'honor' duel. Your cunning has failed you this time orc. We can see through the lines. There is no honor in your challenge, just more deceit.
argonian 14254 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Tylos listens in on the conversation and smiles. You see, Tylos always liked Elves but hated most Orcs so them breaking their pact is good to him. He joins in the conversation. "Orcs never respect anything. They used to piss on the shrine of Horen daily while shouting curses at us. They even dare to kidnap an Elven prince's child and say they have no alliance with the Elves even though the pact still exists. They threatened to burn Malinor's forests and they think duelling an Elven maiden much weaker then them is honourable. The Orcs never did anything for the Elves while the Elves were protecting every bad action the Orcs did with "It's their culture,". Well if their culture is to break pacts and threaten allies then that just isn't good enough. End the pact, it was always just the Elves helping the Orcs in wars and the Orcs not giving anything back but threats anyway. All the pact ever did for the Elves was get them involved in wars that they didn't want to be in." Tylos finishes and waits for a response.
VonAulus 2082 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Well said stranger, only if it was easy as you say.
VonEbs 1224 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Sythra, if you will allow it, I wish to accept the duel, for I can stand his threats and insults no longer. I will honor orc culture, and face him in an arena, in unarmed combat. We shall see who is truly weak in the non physical sense.
Aerinyes 402 Author Share Posted December 18, 2011 The Council has forbade this. He is simply to be turned in to the Warlord of Krugmar. His own kind will deal with him. That is the High Princess's decision.
argonian 14254 Share Posted December 18, 2011 The Council has forbade this. He is simply to be turned in to the Warlord of Krugmar. His own kind will deal with him. That is the High Princess's decision. So you think the Warlord's son will back down from a duel so easily? Orcs don't back down from duels because of words, that idiot actually wants your or your champion's blood. Telling him to shut up and go home will just make him angry and I don't see why the Warlord would mind his son wanting to duel someone, it is part of their culture to settle arguments and things like that with duelling. Aerinyes 402 Author Share Posted December 18, 2011 He will comply because of the alliance Krugmar has with us, in addition to the other Nations. If Krugmar wishes to isolate themselves because of one poor orcs ego. Then they may do so. But the matter is out of my hands. I am subject to elven law, not orcish. I am not even permitted to accept the duel. It is part of their culture yes, but only in Krugmar, not Malinor, not Oren, and not Kal'Urgan. I am not subject to Krugmar's laws outside of Krugmar. This orc may think that everything he lays his eyes on belongs to Krugmar, but he will need to learn this is not the case. If he tries to harm me in Malinor, he will be subject to confinement until he loses said bloodlust or even exile.
argonian 14254 Share Posted December 18, 2011 I'm sure if you ever step foot in Krugmar, you will be forced into the arena.
Lawrence Berell 226 Share Posted December 19, 2011 Let me just say one thing, please. Ben jumps down from a nearby ledge, a piece of halfling meat in his hands I have held my tongue for a small time now. But I find myself compelled to talk of this "judicial" systdm we have, if it could even be called that. Some time ago, your council decided that some of my actions were unsavory. However, aren't we all allowed our beliefs? But because you all frown upon it, it becomes illegal. But that's another matter. I'm on about how I was treated in this prison. At night, guards would throw sticks at me. They would open holes in the roofing, and pour water inside in an attempt to make me confess to crimes I hadn't done as well as the ones I have. I was starved, beaten and whipped. The only reason I got out was because of Mayctor attacking the marketplace as a diversion. So know this next time you call yourselves civilised. Think on what deeds you hath committed in Malin's name, and consider how hypocritical you are. That is all.

Think on what deeds you hath committed in Malin's name, and consider how hypocritical you are. That is all. Some time ago probably means that I was not yet a Princess. You are damning me for actions that happened beyond my control. Never has any prisoner been treated poorly under my charge. Those that have mistreated prisoners while I have been Princess have had their behaviors corrected. Might as well damn me for the actions depicted in legends by Iblees supposedly thousands of years before I was born. Either way, the matter's been settled. As for me going to Krugmar, that won't ever happen. I have my duties with our other allies. Besides, I can't speak orcish. There are better suited diplomats then I for that nation. Blawharag 277 Share Posted December 20, 2011 Settled? Who said it was settled? Believe me, this matter is far from settled Albai. I will not relent in my quest for honor. You have made a deal out of this, and now I must carry it out. You will lose in the arena. I cannot say I will even accept a champion in your name at this point. Fortunately I have no choice, but believe me when I say it is you who I want to shame.
Aerinyes 402 Author Share Posted December 20, 2011 Your warlord said it was over. If you have an issue with this, question him. It is out of my hands. I've been prohibited by elven law to engage in this anyway. But if it is truly a wish, I'll take the high road. You win by default. Congratulations on your defeat of an elven maiden. Blawharag 277 Share Posted December 20, 2011 I heard the Warlord say nothing of the sort. More importantly the Warlord does not hold the right to strip another of their honor duels. To do such a thing would be to literally attack the honor of the individual you are trying to strip. Believe me, Albai, this is far from over. No duel is won through default, only blood. Aerinyes 402 Author Share Posted December 20, 2011 Either way, I am still bound by Elven Law, and cannot fight you in a duel. As this so called slight happened within Malinor, you will have to follow the laws of Malinor to deal with this. You risk facing exile by pursuing this. That is your last warning. Blawharag 277 Share Posted December 21, 2011 <laughs violently and spits> If you think for a second I give a damn about the laws of honorless dogs, you are very wrong. No laws come before an Orcs honor. Exile me all you wish, that will neither keep me from your precious Malinor nor save you from my wrath. You called me a liar. You do not deny it, instead you simply pass it off as though it were nothing. Perhaps it is policy of you Albai to call each other liars, who knows? All I know is that you slighted my honor. Unless you, or a champion of your choosing, face me in the arena, I will continue my pursuit of you. I will find you eventually and I will bring blood with me. Honor demands it, Krug demands it, and I demand it. So cling to your precious laws, they mean nothing to me. All you are telling me is that when we finally meet, I should not offer you a final chance at a fair duel. When finally we meet I should draw my weapon and do combat. I should, but I wouldn't, for honor demands I give you one final chance. Even if you **** on your own honor and use that moment to call you precious Malinor man-pets to save you. I will not relinquish my hunt. Glozag Votar.
