Making Cobwebs With String?

I send this message to those blessed by God to run the nations- the kings, princes, shamans and all other leaders- ever since the days of Sage Candle's first adventures to today, cobweb, gained from the bodies of dead arachnids, have always been useful tools in combat against the evil minions of Iblees, particularly those zombie pigmen, the fastest among their kind, and I have noticed that by destroying these tools of tactical combat, you only get a small amount of spider silk. I have spent many hours trying to thread these strings back to a more useful form, but to no avail.I wonder if there are any who have the ability or talent to do this, and whether their knowledge shall be shared to all of Aegis.

Isn't it kind of redundant to gather several cobwebs, hack at them with a sword to get string and then craft all of those strings into a single cobweb?

It's also redundant to craft a thousand fishing rods because you already have too much wool and too many bows from skeletons.
