Brevias's Journey

Brevias

Recommended Posts

Brevias makes his way to the bulletin board near the front of Sanhar, where he slaps a note near the bottom left. Daybreak has just occurred, and the sands are still cool from the long desert night. The note is written on a poor grade of parchment tattered and dog-eared at the edges as if it where written long before. Brevias's legible handwriting reads as follow.

Many bad things be happening nowadays. Things be a lot different from when I was young. I grow tired of these things, I grow tired of conflict, racism, and fear that grows like a bothersome tumor on the breast of this world. I see very few people in this place that cherish the simple things in life, those which I hold most dear. They all wish for big things, glory, power, and wealth... But nobody remembers what is really important. None remember when Aegis was young and the days of my youth, when simple trade flourished, nations learned from one-another, and mere bandits where the only thing to fear. I am leaving, I will not return anytime soon if at all. I have written no will, all my friends and family are long dead. I, the first Shaman of Krugmar under Or'gok bids you goodbye. I wish you luck, and prosperity in all of your endeavors. Spirits be with you, Brevias.

Brevias then takes an arrowhead from his bag and squats near the sandy trail, he spins the arrowhead, and when it stops, he looks to the East where it points. He picks up his ancient staff, his satchel, takes to his feet and begins walking to the east into the sunrise.

Lex'lur decides to go to sanhar, and walks up to the message board and reads the note.

"And so, the last of the First Shamans is gone..."

((Cowboys are supposed to ride off into the sunset, you are doing it backwards.))

*From his place of meditation a top the world cactus, Blawharag feels Krugzpaw shift and stir. Though no man has died, Blawharag feels a great emptiness form where once a man stood. Sadness creeps silently into Blawharag's heart as he spends the remainder of the day meditating on the passing of the great shaman.*
