The Elves Grow Weak

*You see a message pinned all around Laurelin, Galahar, Kal’Urguan, and Krugmar.

Day by Day, as the Undead press on, as our allies fight for their homes and lives. We Elves sit back saying we are peaceful, yet this may be true, why do we fight one another? The Elves, are falling apart, they are dying out as our supposed military "The Vanguard" are hurting their citizens, not the other day I walked into Laurelin seeing a member of the Vanguard hit a Elf for not removing their hood fast enough, another time I saw a Vanguard member hide behind the Vanguards walls shouting the elves were traitors, a while back, Prince Ebs was killed, he was a loyal friend of all, he was great for his position, yet he was killed by another elf... No matter what those pure elves do the Vanguard and some Citizens fight one another as they feel to secure.. We let our defenses slip while our allies are attacked.. We need to regain our full strength, we need to return to our rightful position of Aegis, we need to return as the Elves, no those who do not help.. Also while the Orcs hate us for our treachery we do nothing, when we were at war along side the Orcs, the Humans came to attack them, while the Wardens were ready to defend their allies in war. The Fool Lafthi called all Elves back, we let the Humans attack our allies.. We let them die... While we hid behind our walls, our allies fell.. We were selfish that day, we cared only for ourselves not our allies... Everyday, when we are in need we plead our current allies for help.. While we give none back..

We must rise forth my kin, to take back our rightful position, we should no longer be called cowards, we shall return as the elves..

((I hope this ends up making amazing IC, this was originally thought of by a friend who walked around Aegis several times and gathered information from every race, though he is no longer a member of LOTC as of a week ago I'd like to post this for everyone as it seems he's properly finished, To ensure proper RP I'd like everyone to remember that no RP hate can be given to my character for this as it is not signed by me or does not hold my name anywhere on this message, also I'd like to point out all words you say are said to a piece of paper and those you choose to let hear you. Let's refrain from using to much OOC in this and let's bee logical when it comes to RP))

I agree ye elves just sit in your damned trees while wars happen that you should be involved in to help your allies. My only respect is for these 7 elves that helped at the battle of Galahar. ((look here))

This is false. We are stronger then we have ever been before. Our forces not only were able to aid the forces of Galahar from certain destruction, but it was a resounding victory. No elf was lost or seriously injured, our foes were scattered to the winds.

But more importantly the victory showed Aegis that our might has returned two-fold.

The events these postings are describing have been remedied, and happened months and months ago (ingame). The undead have not been a threat in over a decade, and actions have been taken with the rest of Aegis to ensure that their threat is one no longer.

The laws of our Princedom are very clear. Helmets, Hoods, Masks, and anything else concealing the face WILL be removed before entering our cities. Failure to do so will result in removal of the hood. That is on my order in addition to the law that the High Princesss and the Council has enacted.

It is a simple matter, if you wish to wear a hood, don't enter the city. Or have it removed for you when you do come in. I've personally had too many hooded individuals skulking about me in the shadows, and I do not wish to face the same fate as Prince Ebs.

The fact that I am still alive today means that our precautions are working. It is a shame that we did not get them in sooner or Prince Ebs would have still been with us.

Our lessons are learned and we are fixing those mistakes. And the results are clear. Malinor is stronger.

We sent every able bodied person we could to aid Galahar. We were not going to send children and those that do not even know how to hold a sword into war. And besides, we apparently sent enough to cause a complete Victory. You're biting the hand that feeds you by saying we sat idly by.

The Elven Miltiary Regroupd with The Knights Ambush and Attacked the Purge members from the rear taken em by surpise. And Greatly Tiping the balance of the scale. If it wasnt for the Elves the battle could have been longer or we would have lost more men. And for that if They are ever in need i will send Me Soilder of galahar To go and aid the elves.

Do you think I am stupid, Auvreaeath, a good friend of mine, came without consent of your terrible governments consent. He came because I asked him too and he rounded up all the forces he could get, being the last warden, he only brought 7 men including himself. So it is a lie you sent the elves. You are a treacherous leader and should be beheaded for your lies. I would gracefully accept the chance to test my sword on your head.

((Now your facts are not entirely correct yet they aren't entirely wrong either, The forces brought by the Elves was indeed sent for by me, yet the forces rounded up is credited to Bircalin. Without him there wouldn't have been Six Elves to help, I was sent to retrive them, though I did get three orcs to come in a act of purity agreeing to them, as they said "The Elves broke the Elven Orc pact, then I got their trust by saying the Elves may have but the Wardens didn't, I now try and bring peace together with the Orcs and the Elves yet the current Elven Leadership kind of refuses to allow it...))

Blondie, simmer down. I do not want a war with the elves. There were two more wardens that came to help that day, Distuth, and Jayek. Without Auvreaeath's help in rounding up the elves, we could have lost many more men. As for Sythra, you need to realize that there wasn't an entire fighting force that day, it was a few elves, and that was all because of a good friend Auvreaeath. And, for that, I thank him. -Ser Daleian. Knight of Renatus.

((I like how you say Jayek since that was basiclly you on an Alt, You know the Elves are calling the Wardens Corrupt and Rogue now right? If that were true I would have killed the Six Elves from the vanguard.

As for proper facts This wont be known IC but the proper facts are that Bircalin trained the Elves that came while I was sent by Braxis to go get them, as in character they wouldn't have known when to go exactly...))

No matter how weak the elves are they act as a safe point. As the undead work their way closer and closer to the cloud temple the elves will be their last target. When all other cites fall the elves will be the last safe point for all of you that need refuge, give them some credit

I beleiveit will be the dwarves who fall last. Despite attacking us many times the Undead have never made it past our first gate!

Refugee, Where gonna be dead there won't be any time to stand around and be refugees cause were all gonna be dead. And if all the other nations are long gone then the forces of the coalition are only going to be 1/6th as strong as they could be. (including hanseti and alras)

Such threats are not welcome in Malinor. I was there when Indelwehn sent the forces, Bircalin was with them as well as the Vanguard. I know this for a fact because both Sylvan Guardian Ashur and Guardian Ukar were among them. They can attest to this fact.

Continue making such threats, especially without any evidence or facts to back your claim, and it will be YOUR head that is removed. We may not order executions in Malinor, but I cannot guarantee the safety of any who make blind threats such as this.

((This was one reason why many dislike the current leaders.. When we hid behind our walls and watched the Orcs die... It was a terrible day for the Wardens.. As we are the ones who hold that pact..))
